My wife and I were pleasantly greeted by Dan. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Dan and his co-workers did a great job to complete our purchase in a very timely manner. The prices are reasonable and they have an excellent selection of gear. Every staff member that we have dealt with has been pleasant and professional. We have bought gear from LI Outdoorsman over the last 3 years and have been satisfied with every visit.

What a pleasant surprise! I was greeted warmly on both recent visits and immediately felt comfortable in the store. There is a large selection of firearms, ammunition and accessories to choose from, and the prices are reasonable, despite the shortage of some items. Following all safety precautions for handling a firearm and proof of licensing (Important!), I was able to browse a selection of pre-owned pistols that interested me. All in excellent condition, all fairly priced. I did decide on one model and later brought in one of mine I scarcely used as a trade. I was very happy with the both the trade-in price allowed and my final purchase. This store is a hidden gem! In plain sight and easy to find at 434 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, just east of Karp Buick. They are friendly, helpful, fairly priced and honest. As I am now retired and back to competitive shooting, I plan to return to the L. I. Outdoorsman often for firearms, ammunition, accessories and repair. They also have a full line of sport fishing gear, clothing and optics. Worth the trip!
