+ -1 moreKevin Sime (General Contractor and owner) completely gutted my house removing all interior walls, electrical lines and plumbing. With his exceptional crew of top shelf carpenters, plumbers, electricians, masonery experts and painters created a home that anyone would be proud to own. Kevin was completely hands on and was either personally there at the property or was in contact with me on a daily basis. He wasn't afraid to gently guide me away from bad ideas always patiently explaining his reasoning. He is a perfectionist and took care to make sure that all work performed exceeded my expectations. Kevin is in high demand rebuilding homes after Sandy and because of his professionalism. If you want a great outcome on your rebuild or other house related build, call KS Restorations and ask for Kevin. I am looking around my home these days and just saying WOW!. I cant believe I live here! From nothing but beams to this: (see photos)

Description of Work: Kevin Sime and his team helped me with several projects in two separate homes. They did a complete remodel of a full bath in my first home in a coop which had special regulations and requirements of a contractor. They handled the coop board perfectly, held to their limits on hours they could work, and were clean and tidied everything when they left. They did the job quickly and beautifully. Several years they helped my husband and I with a complete kitchen and full bath remodel in our 100 year old house. It was a tough job and whenever they discovered something wrong (like faulty electric wiring) Kevin helped us make the best decision on what to do next. Whenever we have smaller projects, like putting up a new wall and a laundry room in our basement Kevin sent a small team who did the job quickly and beautifully.

+ 0 moreKevin, the owner, came to access and give estimate. Super friendly and honest. Gave quote, we accepted. We were able to choose from Benjamin Moore line of products, which is what I wanted. They purchased the paint for us and got started almost immediately. The guys worked a lot and we were not there as we were moving in after the painting. Looks like a new house!
Description of Work: We needed our 1931 tudor's interior painting. Upon purchasing, it had cracks all over ceilings and walls since it was the original plaster. The plaster also had a different texture in every room which is difficult to match, so that was a concern. The team that worked on the house did an immaculate job! The walls and ceilings and molding look brand new. I had a chance to see a lot of the work as it was being done and my son's room was a mess. The plaster was falling down and cracking on one whole wall. I thought it was hopeless. It now looks like they redid the entire wall. Unbelievable! I am so happy with the work. They were fast and clean and nice. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs painting done.
