My wife and I purchased a home in desperate need of a refresh and hired Phil and the crew at G&M Construction Group to renovate about 75% of our home including removing load bearing walls, renovating the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, basement, floors and more. First off Phil and his crew are some of the most professional people I’ve worked with.. always on time, seemingly always available, preparing quotes quickly, full in depth explanations.. the list goes on. Equally important, he is incredibly knowledgeable. We had a million questions and concerns and he was there to answer them all. He respectfully steered us away from things that in hindsight would have been a total disaster, but was respectful of the few things we could not budge on. The attention to detail was remarkable. He has a true passion for his work and takes great pride on anything he puts his name on. He always took the time to explain all aspects of the job and work to be done each day. As walls came down Phil inspected every inch of the house of any issues, leaks etc and arranged for everything to be fixed. He even caught things that the “home inspection pros” missed. My wife and I sleep better each night knowing that everything was thoroughly checked out. Also Phil’s network of electricians, plumbers, floor guys were great.. their work was also top notch. Lastly, we listened to Phil’s advice throughout the process and the finished product is truly unbelievable. Everyone that walks into our home is blown away by the craftsmanship, including us each and every day. Phil has a true skill, a wealth of experience, an eye for precise detail, a huge knowledge base, manages his crew efficiently and is overall a great, trustworthy guy to work with each day. I look forward to working with Phil and the crew for future renovations.. they are the only crew I’ll work with from now on. Overall we are so thankful to have hired Phil and his crew and for the tremendous job that they have done.

To tell you the truth my wife and I were pretty nervous in who to get to do this type of work. We didn't know where to start. A friend gave us G&M Construction information. I called them and let me tell you Phil didn't disappoint. He guided us through the whole process. We told him what we wanted and he delivered. So much so that people come by and tell my wife and me how great the front looks. His employees are honest and trust worthy. We highly recommend and we will contract him again.

Overall went amazing! Phil was extremely “user friendly”, taking the time to explain things and was always on time, if not early (which is a good thing). Took the time to cover floors and walls and clean up at the end of the job. Project went very smoothly except for a minor issue of slightly warped siding due to painting. Despite the siding, would certainly hire again.

Had a decorative tile job I needed done to a wall. They were very professional, prompt, communicative and it came out great! Highly recommended for your needs.

It was a pleasure to work with Phil Scilipoti of G & M Construction Group of NY in building a new two car garage. He always seamed to be there reviewing the work, giving instructions and providing advice. He moved his teams in and out seamlessly and was able to complete the project before the winter weather set in. Phil and his team did a fantastic job. He had very good ideas for the redesign of our space, selection of built-in and technology components, special basement insulation and waterproofing, and flooring selection. The end result is more beautiful than we could have imagined. We are getting compliments on the fine work that was done. The project ran exactly on schedule as he planned. His team showed up on time and ready to work every single day of the job. They did not leave until the job was finished. Phil is a man of his word, which is extremely valuable in the business of being a contractor. If he said he would call; he did. If he said he would be there at a specific time, he was. This was the third job we hired G & M to do at our home. We have always been satisfied and chosen G& M above many other contractors we have interviewed and received estimates from.

Phil and his team were fantastic. Bathroom needed updating and Phil did a fantastic job, it really was better than I could have imagined! His team were professional, prompt, and courteous. He is my go-to for any and all future projects!

My wife and I hired Phil to frame out and mount a tv/fireplace/sound bar. Phil provided us with detailed and itemized estimates and invoices via email which was nice to have. We showed him rough drawings and samples from the web and he was able to offer valuable insights and tips for hiding the media boxes/wires. Phil and crew arrived early, worked efficiently and were super clean. We are very pleased with the work and plan to hire him again in the future.

Phil was knowledgeable, articulate and easily accessible. He indicated what was to be done and how they were going to do it. He was prompt and considerate in adhering to established appointments. The job was completed on time and I was very satisfied with the quality of the work.

I highly recommend G & M Construction, I usually don’t leave reviews but had to since Phil and his team did a fanatic job. Due to the recent weather, strong winds and rain, we needed our roof, siding and gutters repaired. Phil came to our home, explained exactly what our problem was and did everything he told us he was going to do. I had a very limited window of time since my roof was damaged and water was leaking directly into our living room, Phil and his team came in and got the job done. His workmanship is excellent. I will definitely be using them for future projects. Thank you Phil!

Excellent service- and the work was beautiful! The moldings were precise. The kitchen was redone -cabinets sprayed, high hats, new countertops, sink , appliances- new wood floorings. Bathroom gutted and totally redone. New shower , tile and lighting. Looks gorgeous!!

We just had Phil and his team remodel our kitchen and he really did an impressive job. He was responsive to all of our questions and calls. He also shared his concerns and recommendations/suggestions which helped us think though what we wanted vs what we needed which was tremendously valuable and helpful to us. He thinks of every little thing and walks you through all the details. He is extremely detail oriented which you want in a contractor so that nothing falls in between the cracks. We recommend Phil for all your home remodeling needs. He is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

Perfect. The shelves look like they came with the house! He even came back the next day to check on the Work and give it a 2nd over to ensure he had done his best. I will 100% have him again, and have referred him to 2 others.

Phil and his team were very courteous and professional. Phil was also very responsive anytime we called with questions. The pricing seemed reasonable and we appreciated the attention to detail in his work. We were particularly impressed with his craftsmanship in working on our staircase. We would not hesitate to use him again for future projects.

Being a Real Estate Broker, I encounter many contractors and can identify an excellent contractor rather easily. With that said, Phil of G&M truly does a great job and is a fine example of an excellent contractor. I am very glad that I had requested them to do work on my mother's home. The sliding glass door was done flawlessly, the cleanup was great, and the job was done quickly. He was also kind enough to make recommendations of other areas of the home which needed attention, and he was right. I will be using him again. Thanks again!

We had a water leak in August which caused substantial water damage to the living room and dining room ceiling and the bathroom. We had ugly water stains on the ceilings and the bathroom tiles were coming off. We hired Phil based on the fair price he quoted for the job. Turned out to be one of the best decisions we have made in a while. Phil and his crew (Alphonso and George) were phenomenal!! They were extremely professional, courteous, punctual and took the time to explain every detail along the way. Based on this experience we also add a few more items to the list. Again, we got a fair price for these jobs. They finished all the tasks in a couple of days. The finished job was perfect. We cant tell that we ever had any leaks. I give him full marks for the job his team did.

I can’t begin to explain and compliment G&M Construction Group My Wife and I had set out for a roofer and we looked and looked and a friend of mine Dave highly recommended Phil after about 6 other estimates we chose Phil he came back at us with an amazing deal, squeezed us into his busy schedule and did a Top Notch Job from tear down to clean up it was like nobody was ever there his crew were very respectful and professional and Our roof looks AMAZING!! Over and above this Job My wife had asked if he can build a ramp at my Father in laws house (recently had become unable to walk) and again with his schedule they just banged it out today and another AMAZING job by G&M Construction Group he’s local to us and now i will not use another bunch of highly trained pros other then G&M. Having dealt with several home contractors, plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc over the years, Phil stands out well above the field for his professionalism, punctuality, and communication. His team did a beautiful job, but finding a contractor who knows what they’re doing and knows how to manage a client relationship, keeps a tight schedule, shows up on time every day, calls you to check in, provide progress updates, and discusses requirements clearly is a difficult thing. It’s the client service are where G&M truely separates themselves from the pack.
