On 10/13/2014 I purchased a big deal for $100.00 which called for the above services. Early the next morning I received an email from Scott saying he would call later to set up an appointment. We set up the appointment for about 6PM. He called, logged on remotely & started. Not much later he called & told me that the computer was riddled with viruses & malware. I had been having some problems but I didn't expect that. He spent the next 3 hours cleaning up my computer. When he was finished we discussed my security protection. I asked him to suggest a different security company & I decided to take his advice. But my operating system was also affected so he had to repair that. It cost an extra $50.00 & took another hour.
Scott had done some work for me last year which had been done with the same amount of care. At the time in my review I said that I couldn't say enough good things about his work. Now It goes double for me. He suggested I call my security company & get my money back. I called & received back the entire amount that I had paid. Anyone who is having problems with their computer would do well to call Scott.
Great job and made sure he explained everything to us so we would not be left in the dark with our new windows 8 computer. He was also able to save us from buying a new printer! He was able to figure out how to get an old printer working with our new system. I have used so many computer repair companies and nobody was as fair and kind as Scott's Computer Repair. I highly recommend this company since they truly do care about their reputation even more then making money!!
PS: Most importantly they called before they came to confirm, and arrived right on time!
