horrible! I was provided a 5 year warranty in 2013. Nearly every years since the job, there has been peeling and I've had to ask them to come back and scrape and touch up. I was told by the gentleman that came back to touch up that he was never told how much scraping was required. Truth be told, they never scraped all the way down. I'm not even sure they properly primed. Anyway, I have tried this year to get them to come back out and fix it all again and I was told by the owner that he's been in drug rehab. I called him, emailed him, texted him, contacted him through FB and his web page. He's promised three times that he would take care of everything, but I haven't seen him or anyone from his company. I'm out thousands of dollars and I'm very unhappy!

When originally painted in 2011, the process went well and the company was very responsive.  However, I noticed several areas where the paint began peeling and bubbling early in 2015.  The warranty for the job is good for 5 years.  I contacted Yaro and he assured me he would take care of it - this was in April 2015.  He never showed.  Several emails and attempts to contact Yaro for follow-up resulted in empty promises and Yaro continued to say that he would 'take care of it'.  To this date, he has not taken care of anything.  A complaint was lodged with the BBB and still no response.  It's unfortunate because they did a decent job, but they DO NOT stand by their work or warranty.  Stay away from Yaros Painting - they lack integrity, professionalism and will simply ignore you likely until your 'warranty' runs out.

Yaro was quick to come and give an estimate. Final presentation was a very nice notebook with photos of our home. An itemized list of work to be completed was included. Power wash, scrape and prime as needed, replace old caulk and paint with 2 coats of SW Duration. Also included was a 5 year warranty. The painting crew was NOT the crew pictured on the estimate folder. Grandpa and grandson were the crew. The grandson (17 @ the time) did a very nice job. Grandpa not so much. He painted a couple of areas with the wrong paint including some white vinyl trim. This was corrected. Yaro called us on the 2nd day to say that they would be finished on the morning of the 3rd day. We walked around the house that evening only to find the caulking had not been replaced around the windows and the body of the house was showing many flecks of the old color showing through along with some missed areas. We asked Yaro to come out that next day and do a walk around with us. We pointed out the problems and he became difficult to work with. He claimed 2 coats of paint is working from the top to the bottom and then back up again! I'm not stupid and I know that 2 coats are applied 8 hours apart. Then we had to refer him to the contact about caulk replacement. I hired him prior to joining AL. A true professional owns up to the contact without the home owner having to go behind the work at every turn. After an uncomfortable go 'round the house looks nice but I won't recommend Yaro in the future.

Just had Yaro paint our house.
As others have mentioned, estimates are presented professionally, Yaro is a pleasant and courteous young man. Uncle Mike who singly took care of wood repair and painting, did quite a bit of old siding mending and other small areas of the house that needed attention; in fact he did more than what the wood work had been estimate for. Uncle Mike is no cabinet maker, however our home being circa 1845, sound repairing won over high craftsmanship invisible repairs and as well, my wallet was quite happy with the result.
Uncle Mike was here between 7:15 and 7:30 in the morning and worked non stop but for a very short lunch break on premises till around 7, 7:30pm. So, if you get a fellow with a full head of white hair to do your place, that's uncle Mike and you will be happy with him in the end. Should he miss spots or should some places need paint, wait till he is finished and then show him the spots preferably with a long stick or extension pole and he will do it no problem. If you see it, he can see it as well.
Uncle Mike is a good guy and his English is limited so don't go into long tirades. Keywords work better and simple keywords work even better.
In conclusion, I would hire Yaro to work on my house again with the premise that uncle Mike loads that paint brush and rollers a little heavier without stretching that paint so much, but I am quite happy with the end results: the house looks good!

I had a good experience with Yaros Painting last year when they painted the exterior of our home. This year we decided to repaint some of our upstairs areas including some bedrooms and hallway. They shower up on time every morning and got the job done within a few days. They also removed some of the ugly floral-pattern old wallpaper we had on our stairwell, washed those walls, and primed before painting. The colors and the work quality are beautiful. We are very satisfied and will use these guys in the future. One of the more professional companies to deal with from my experience.

I contacted Yaros Painting in July to have an estimate for painting our home. They scheduled an appointment and came out within a few days to take a look at the project. A number of areas were pointed out with rot that I was not even aware of of. They left a very professional folder with references of homes they had done in my area as well as their insurance. I got the actual quote a few days later over email - this laid out in detail exactly what was to be done from prep to finish which I appreciated after getting some quotes that simply read and quot;prep and paint entire house.and quot;
We did have to wait quite some time for the work to begin because they were really booked up by this point in the summer. This is a small family company with most of the workers related to the owner. The guys on the job site were all very nice and took good care of our plants and property around the home.
I was very happy to observe the extensive prep-work that went into the project. The sanding, feathering, caulking, glazing and priming took up more of the time than the actual painting itself. They finished off the project with beautiful colors and walked around the home with me at the end to make sure I was happy with the end result - which I was!

The estimate was very professional. It was all laid-out in a nice packet with a detailed description and copies of their insurance and references. Once I agreed to work with Yaros, they delayed my project 3 times. On day one they blew a fuse and broke into my house to try and fix it, before calling me. The only worker that spoke english was 17 years old and he was only there the first two days. On the 5th or 6th day the other guy told me he was finishing up. I looked at him like he was crazy because the house still had spots on every surface where the primer was showing through. It was so ridiculous that 2 of my neighbors called me about the quality of the job, and when I walked around pointing out the problems he acted like I was crazy, as I pointed to the white spots showing through. He came back and fixed all the spots that i explicitly pointed out. I still have a day or two of work left to finnish up trim and spots they missed.
Response from YAROS PAINTING
"I want to express my thanks to the Member for leaving a review about our company and address some of the issues the Member rose about our performance. The project was indeed delayed - we cannot paint in the rain. A reliable stretch of good weather is imperative for any exterior painting work. Regarding the Member's callous description of our employees, I'll just say that I really do not take lightly a customer's verbal abuse of our company workers who have been with us for years. I'll leave the Member's tone and choice of words in the review above to speak for themselves regarding the matter. As on any painting project, there are minor touch-ups left to do after the finish coat has been applied. As the Member points out, we had identified all areas needing any touch-ups and took care of those areas. During my walk-around meeting with the Member, he expressed satisfaction and payment was submitted for the job in a timely fashion. For other reviews of our work in the area, please see what our past customers are saying about us below. Sincerely, Yaro S., owner"

Overall i got a fair job for a fair price. Their quote was half the price of the other quote i had received. There was some miscommunication between the boss and the crew regarding painting of the gutters and doors. This was resolved. You definitely needed to review the work and identify any areas that weren't finished to your satisifaction. They always took care of the problem/issue. The painter wasn't the neatest, there are some drips here and there but i think that i received a good value for the price.

After surviving most of this year's winter, the stain job still looks very good and is holding up well.

Overall, it went well. The quote came in much lower than most others, and I believe that the reason it did is that the lead paint scraped off the house was done without the use of protective gear that our other 3 bidders included in their overall price. We did need to call them back a couple of months after the project for a bare spot on the garage molding -- somehow the paint and primer came completely off down to the wood. I called and they were out within a couple of days to fix. They were always very responsive to us in returning our calls

Our home is a 1939 cape style with wood shake exterior in need of repairs and repainting. Every step of the process was smooth from beginning to end. Yaro was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He provided a professional estimate with reasonable expectations. Mike came to do the work and did a wonderful job with attention to detail. He was always on time and cleaned up every day before he left. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Every day another neighbor walks by and tells us how beautiful our home looks! We can't thank Yaro and Mike enough!

They showed up on time and did a good job. They did a good job in cleaning up after themselves. They put two coats. They were very friendly about if we saw some spots or think we needed some touch up. We had given them complicated instructions for three to four colors and they got that right. My house looks good.
