After receiving several quotes of ~ $1000, Mark inspected the job and provided a quote of almost half the others. I shook his hand and hired him. He arranged for RGE and City permit/imspection and arrived the time/day promised. He worked very efficiently and timed the inspections perfectly. Power was restored within 3 hours. A very competent one-man business, Mark was a pleasure to work with and first on my list for electrical work.

Went well, all the work was performed while the house was vacant. Work was very neat and in any areas where judgement was required, e.g. locating fixtures/outlets/switches, he made good and reasonable choices. He prepared an estimate in advance, honored the estimate, and reviewed the work with me before accepting payment. I'd hire him again because: 1) Neatness of the work and the work areas. A few insulation and conductor trimmings were left on the driveway, but very minor. 2) Did a good job setting my expectations and providing input on choices. 3) Very accessible via phone, promptly returned messages. 4) Fair pricing. 5) Flexible in scheduling the work and site meetings. 6) Suggested areas where I could extend the circuits in the future (without hiring an electrician). Not protective about his livelihood.
