Zack was late by an hour on the Tuesday and left for about 1 1/2 hours. He came on time Wed. but he left within 15 minutes and was gone for 3 1/2 hours leaving my husband to supervise his employee for the entire morning!!! Very unprofessional. He took advantage of my husband's good nature to the max!!! I cannot recommend him. He was gone for more than half the install. We paid him to be here to install the floors not go out and about all day. His employee, who did not speak English (or pretended to not speak English) did most of the job. His employee was unkept. If he is going to bring someone into a customer's home, his employees should be clean and presentable. I was very disappointed in a contractor from Angie's List.

"Dear Mrs. [removed member name], We agreed for Viking Floors to install the hardwood flooring your home we did it in TWO days as PROMISED. The installation time would be shorter if we didn't have to install flooring that was 70% defected. My personal presence was not needed all the time and I reserve the right and time to leave the job site when is needed. Mr.[removed member name] DID NOT have to supervise my employee at all as my installers are VERY much skilled in the trade (10 years in flooring installation and capable to work independently)! Poor knowledge of English language does NOT effect installer's capability of performing excellent work! He was there to install the floor not to talk! Me and my installers wear company shirts and I am sorry we don't look like guys on TV commercials. Dear Mrs. [removed member name], I can't help to notice that MR. [removed member name], did not write review! He was with us all the time, while you didn't show up at all during the installation. Mr. [removed member name] was very satisfied after installation was done. Mentioned many times how pleased hi is with our work, and gave us many compliments. Install went great they were very professional and finished the job in the time frame promised. Would use them again anytime and would recommend them to anyone who wants a job done well in a timely manner.

Zack arrived with his helper just as he said he would. He got right to work and finished in 2 1/2 hours. He made sure that the job was done right and it was. I'm definitely having him do more floor installations for me.

This company works quickly, but cuts some corners. They did a good job with the tile flooring. Everything was installed neatly. With the laminate floors, it was a different story. They didn't put baseboard moldings back in some parts of our kitchen and some of the mitre cuts were sloppy on some others. They didn't glue the moldings in the bathroom completely, so they look as if they're pulling away from the wall. They did do a good job of reinstalling our toilet.

They are a small company, and I worked with the president of the company. They were very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. The company they do business with can have the carpet to them in 24 hours, and within a week, their installers were available. However, we weren't in a hurry and asked to delay for about a month. They were able to install on the date that met our needs. We will definitely hire them when ready to install our kitchen floor.

Viking Floors was very nice to work with. Their pricing is very competitive. They are a smaller company with a lot of knowledge. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.
