Upstate Carpet Cleaning & Restoration

This guy came into my home and proceeded to saturate the carpet with hot water which exacerbated the problem. He introduced a fragrance that initially covered up the urine smell until later on in the evening. I called him the next morning, and he agreed to come back and reclean the carpet the following Tuesday at 11:00 AM. I informed him that my wife and I have been staying with my mother-in-law since her husband passed away a week earlier. My wife drove back from Syracuse on Monday to take the dog out of the house for Tuesday’s appointment (back to Syracuse). This scumbag didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me he wasn’t coming on Tuesday. I called him at 12 o’clock on Tuesday to inform him that he was on record guaranteeing that he could successfully eliminate the smell from the carpet. He responded within minutes after my call and threatened to file charges against me for recording the phone call. I hired a carpet cleaning company that uses a low moisture system and had to replace the carpet pad at a total cost of $550. I filed a small claims complaint and suggested you stay away from this company. He uses at least two companies with the same phone number 585-200-4051.

The guy did a very shoddy job. He insisted on extra surcharges for an area rug and did not even take the rug off the railing it was hanging on to clean it. Instead he cleaned the half of the rug facing him and left the other half untouched. Refused to give us our money back when we complained on the phone. Seems threatening.
