For several years Chuck was my "Go To" guy for general repairs. Plumbing, electrical, you name it. Then I made the mistake of lending him money and he pretty much disappeared.

He responded immediately to set an appointment, showed up on time (actually, he emailed ahead to say he would be 10 minutes late -- another sign of his reliability), and offered to do the job the next weekday morning. He did the job quickly and expertly, and his reasonable cost estimate was right on the money. He previously did work at the same house (my mother's), undoing damage done by a shady contractor. Chuck is skilled, very pleasant to deal with, and a total straight shooter. On top of all that, he's highly responsive even on small jobs that other contractors might turn up their noses at or jerk you around for days or weeks with unreturned emails and calls.
