David did a wonderful job in getting my system to print. I was very pleased with the service.

cIt went better than I had hoped for. It took me two days of constant fooling around on my own to completely  mess up my entire system, it took David about an hour to sort it out and restore everything to working order. His working knowledge of the internet, devices and systems is amazing. He got my router, printer and new Chromebook talking to each  other like they were family. I would use him again or reccomend him to anyone.

David did an outstanding job! He was very thorough, technically knowledgeable and was excellent in walking me through the updates and options. I could not have been more pleased! I would highly recommend David!

He went to my father's house, assessed problems with his laptop, and removed a virus (or viruses).  He got the laptop running well.  My father was very pleased with his professionalism, thoroughness, and pricing.  My dad asked me to post this review for him.  He will be calling the Computer Gardener with any future problems!

Dave is very professional, intelligent, and straightforward. He has quickly resolved many of my complex tech support issues. I could not be happier! I've consulted with a handful of bigger tech support companies and am by far so much happier with Dave's individualized approach. He is a true asset. Other companies have advised me that my IT issues were not solvable while Dave resolved them in under two hours! His flexible hours are fantastic, his work is thorough, and his services are offered at a very competitive rate. He was very hard working.  A really good guy, a really good personality.   He was able to come to our home to do the servicing.  He also helped me with using my new Android phone.  I would give him an A+ for everything.  I would recommend him to anybody. 

Turns out I had some nasty viruses and he installed and gave me a better and still free mal ware.  I had my computer back the next day!!  Most impressive.  Dave kept in contact with me during the day as he tweeked it and cleaned it up.

The Computer Gardener was excellent. The service was prompt and he went above and beyond in fixing the problem. He helped me out tremendously. I've used him a few times.

I called Dave and he called me back that day and scheduled to come over the very next day.  He was right on time and sat down to take a look at my laptop and described the problem to me in terms I could understand.   He asked if he could take it with him and repair the problem.  He called me the next night to tell me what the issue was and what the fix would be.  Overall Dave was very honest, fair in his pricing, and easy to get a hold of.  He always returned my phone calls and even took time to talk through the issues with my husband.  I completely trust Dave and will always call him in the future to help out with our computers.  He even created a back-up for me in case this issue happens again to my computer.  He really went above and beyond for sure.

I sat by Dave as he worked on my computer to take notes of things that might prove helpful to me later on.  He gave very good instruction as he proceeded.  He definitely is extremely well versed and easy to work with. He is coming back soon to back up the info on my computer.  He has also answered a few questions I have emailed him about.  I would definitely recommend  Dave to anyone looking for someone to work on their computer.

It was great. He called to confirm the time he was to arrive. After checking a few registry files, he made fixes, explaining what he was doing as he went. He then installed some free anti-malware and adware programs, showed me how to best use them and made sure that the PC was back to proper speed. All-in-all, he was at my home a little over an hour and charged just $40. He also said he was willing to talk me through any future problems over the phone. Very knowledgeable without being off-putting.

David Finger is a conscientious professional, and does good work!

One thing that is so great about Dave is that he'll speak to you at your level of understanding of computers, and he'll happily answer any questions you may have. (As a matter of fact, he encourages you to ask questions!) With Dave, you get a lot of bang for your buck! He charged me for 3 hours of work, yet worked several more than that! Overall, I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service that I received from Dave, and I will definitely hire him again in the future!!! I have (and also will) recommend him to my friends and family, with no reservations. Thank you, Dave! You rock!

Mr. Finger picked up the computer from my father's home, returned it 24 hours later and explained all that he did and gave some recommendations to improve performance. He gave my father an invoice explaining all that he did to fix his computer. My father is very happy with how well his computer is working, and I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy

My experience with Dave at Computer Gardener was excellent. He is a very respectable, trustworthy, guy who I had no problem letting into my house. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He determined the problem with my compter and fixed it, ordering more memory so it would run faster. He was generous with his time and advice. He even helped my son get his DS and WII on line, which made him a hero and a half to my son.

This man is the best. I can unequivocally say he's the best IT guy I ever worked with, including some very good guys at a global professional services firm where was a partner. He is prompt, he is knowledgeable, he makes both the problems and the solutions very clear to non-computer folks like myself, and his prices are fair. You can't ask for anymore than that.

Great service for a very reasonable price.

David Finger seems to have a great one-man evening-and-weekend computer-service business. And he makes house calls. He has a reasonable hourly rate, and only charged me for 2 of the nearly 3 hours he spent with me. It was well worth it. He re-set my anti-virus system to be more efficient, installed a free anti-spyware program that he recommended, cleaned out unnecessary stuff on my hard drive, downloaded and installed a program I had had trouble getting, researched and solved a problem of double icons on my desktop, and gave me lots of helpful tips along the way. He also uses a remote system where, if you call him with a problem, he can access your computer from wherever he is to solve your problem on the spot; this is pretty amazing, and very useful.

David Finger responded promptly to my call for help. After spending a few hours (that I was not charged for) diagnosing the problem, he removed the viruses (>60!), installed a new hard drive and reloaded the software and files from the old hard drive. He also installed better anti virus and anticipate software.

I have an older PC running Windows 2000 that was running slowly. Dave controlled my computer remotely and talked with me over the phone while he did a tune-up and I watched. All along the way he talked with me about what he was doing and asked questions about how I used the computer (e.g., which programs/features I used daily, which I never used, etc.). He removed stuff I didn't need from the startup list, cleaned up the desktop, cleaned up the registry, installed free security software, showed me how to use everything, and generally streamlined everything for me. He gave me advice about security procedures and also suggested I get more memory. The whole process was a piece of cake. Dave didn't charge me for this because he was looking for someone to help him test out new software for remotely accessing a client's desktop. We both came out happy.

It was fabulous. I live in Boston and found Dave through Angie's List. I hired him to do this work for my sister who lives in Rochester and is mostly baffled by technology. He talked with me first to get the scope of the job, then talked with her to set up the appointment. He was very responsive and thoughtful during this process. At her place, he checked out the new internet service that was installed recently by a cable company. He installed security software and a good browser; set up new mail service and brought over the address book; installed viewers for other types of files; did an overall tune up for system health; adjusted the screen settings for best viewing; and made recommendations for component upgrades in the future. On top of all that, he explained everything and helped my sister write down instructions for various tasks so she can get the most out of her new, improved system. Then he wrote me a very detailed report about what he had accomplished. I couldn't have been happier.
