It went well. There was an insect problem, and they fixed it. We can use it tonight! We also get our propane deliveries from them.

Overall the process was excellent, from initial sales discussion, rghtthru installation. We did require several additional trips, and were never charged, and required to finish installation.I would stringly encourage consideration of this program.

My Mother owned the house prior to me and used Griffith for many many years. If I have any questions at all, I call the office and everyone I talk to is very polite and helpful. I would say that there are no "don'ts" associated with this terrific company and their fantastic staff. GO GRIFFITH!!

I bought a house a little over two years ago that had heating oil. As I have never owned a house with heating oil before, I had to do some research about prices and delivery. I called Griffith Energy and had a wonderful experience and was set up for Automatic Delivery. They even sent someone out to inspect my tank ( a woman that I was very impressed with). For two winters, I had oil automatically delivered and it was simple and convenient. Then the price of oil started to rise and it became less convenient. I canceled my automatic delivery in April of 2011 with the intention of installing a Natural Gas Furnace.

In October, I came home to a receipt in my door indicating that Griffith Oil had made an automatic delivery. I panicked because I had perfectly planned on using the oil that was left in my tank before converting to Natural Gas. I called and spoke with a customer service representative. She was patient, pleasant, and apologized for the mistake. She said they would fix it and would need to speak with the Service Manager Joe. Joe called me a few days later and made an appointment to come look at my tank to determine how he could pump out the mistakenly delivered oil. While he was there he asked, “Would you like me to give you a quote on a Natural Gas Furnace?” I didn’t even know that Griffith Energy installed Natural Gas Furnaces. I had always thought of them as an oil company. And I had already received two other quotes, so of course I said yes to see how they compared.

Joe was amazing. He gave me a rough quote right there on the spot. The only hiccup was that Griffith didn’t offer financing. A couple days later, and after some thought, I called Joe back and asked him to put a proposal in writing. He came by earlier this week, with a well written proposal and an offer I couldn’t pass up. He was able to give me a price that was in the ballpark of my other two offers, but also included an humidifier and removal of my oil tank – with a credit on any unused oil!

So Joe turned a mistake into a sales opportunity – and he’s not even a salesman! I am thrilled with the service I have gotten from Griffith Energy and am glad I get to stick with them. Joe may also be selling me Natural Gas delivery on top of it all. For a Service Manager, Joe sure did a good job of selling me a furnace and natural gas! I’m thrilled with how things have turned out and remain a loyal Griffith Energy customer.

I use them for our oil heating, and they are pretty good and reliable. They call up when it is time to do the service and do what they say they are going to do. They don’t overcharge. Their price is nothing special - it is middle of the range. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Griffith Energy really did a good job and they were pretty quick about it. They explained the things they had to do and treated me with respect. I do not know if I got a really good price or a fair price because I do not know what the market is like.

Overall, my experience has been good with Griffith. I have used them for 4 years now, and they have served me very well. I would recommend them to anyone.
