Southpaw Designs

I called for 3 estimates for refinishing our hardwood floors, Southpaw being one of the three. The estimates were almost exactly the same, but Southpaw seemed to want to do more for the money...ie, installing new molding and trying to minimize the squeaks in the floors. The owner, Eric Antczak, has 18 years of experience in doing floors and knows his business well. He called the day before as a reminder of the time of arrival the following day and that the rooms needed to be free of furniture, window treatments, and wall fixtures. They, he and his worker, Roger arrives on time, went right to work, and worked diligently for the remainder of the 3 days. They were very detailed, customer oriented, and cleaned up after each day of work. They left their equipment out of the way of direct traffic and gave detailed instructions on what NOT to do until the floors were ready for use. I would use this company again as the price was very fair for the work they did and the time involved. They worked very hard during hot weather and are to be commended for their perserverance and dedication to their work. I love the look of my new hardwood floors!!
