He did a great job and would I recommend him to others. It’s truly hard to find good people that do great work. He is clean, honest, pays attention to detail, and is a true professional painter. I will be hiring him for future project and have referred to friends and family members.

Chris did such an amazing job! He is meticulous and a perfectionist, as well as a nice guy. We had put foam bumpers on the wall corners (to protect little ones from falls) and he had to try multiple methods to remove the resultant glue, but it was obvious he wouldn't give up because it would bother HIM too much if it weren't perfect! He re-smoothed some drywall repairs that had been done previously and fixed some chips in the front door without changing his original estimate. The area could not look better.

Used Chris 4 years ago and called him for this job. He does a great job at a great price. He is the only painter I would use.

Chris did a great job. He pays great attention to detail and puts in the time. Quite honestly he did more work than I even expected. The painting came out very nice. If you are looking for a painter, give him a call.

This job will probably end today.  Chris had just a few things to finish up today and wanted to come by one more time after our contractor finished his construction job so he could touch up any dings that occurred putting in our new bathroom fixtures, door and other final pieces.  He is a meticulous painter, and he has an incredible work ethic.  We have asked him to come back for a fourth job already, so we will see him again in a few months.

Everything went very smoothly.  The quality of Chris' work was excellent.  He paid attention to the detail.  Chriswas easy to work with, and made some great recommendations.  He kept the house and area clean.  I plan to hire Chris again in the future.

My message was returned the same day I left it and he set a time he could meet with me. He met puncatuly, gave me and estimate for the work and the date he could do it. When he did the work as often happnes some additional work needed to be done. I tried to pay him for the extra work but he refused to accept it saying he does not change his quoted price. Experiance could not have been better. I would not use any other painter for any future needs.

Chris and Arthur were very prompt and put in a full day in spite of the hot weather. I am very pleased with results. They did an excellent job. I would certainly hire them again and plan to do so in the future.

CONTACTED CHRIS SEVERAL MONTHS AGO BUT WAS NOT READY TO HAVE KITCHEN PAINTED UNTIL AUGUST. CHRIS WAS WORKING OTHER JOBS BUT GAVE ME A BALL PARK DATE OF MID AUGUST TO START MY JOB. CONTACTED CHRIS AGAIN AN SECURED DATE WHICH HE SAID MAY VARY 1 OR 2 DAYS.

CHRIS STARTED THE JOB ON FRIDAY AUGUST 22 AT 9:00AM DOING THE PREP WORK. RETURNED ON MONDAY MORNING AND WORKED WITH ARTHUR (HELPER) FOR 3 MORE DAYS.

MY WIFE AND I WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL ESPECIALLY IN THE KITCHEN SINCE WE HAVE FAIRLY NEW CABINETRY INSTALLED AND NEEDED SPECIAL ATTENTION TO WORK AROUND SO AS NOT TO SPREAD ANY PAINT ON THE NEW WOODEN CABINETS. CHRIS AND ARTHUR BOTH WORKED AS A TEAM AND IT SEEMED THAT THEY COMPLIMENT EACH OTHERS ABILITIES.

CHRIS KEPT US INFORMED ON ANY LITTLE CHANGES OR QUESTIONS HE MAY HAVE HAD TO COMPLETE THE JOB AS WE WISHED. HE WAS NOT REALLY ON BOARD WITH USING BEHR PAINT AS WE REQUESTED, BUT DID COME AROUND THAT THE PAINT WAS NOT ALL THAT BAD. HE USUALLY USES SHERWIN WILLIAMS PAINTS ON HIS JOBS.

He put a lot of time and work into prepping the walls, which paid off immensely. Verymuch a perfectionist and it shows in his work, its been 6 months since we've moved in and we still feel like its the best money we've invested into the house. He made a good house into a beautiful home!
He is hard working and put in long hours to complete the job in a timely manner. Chris works alone.

Chris did an awesome job. He was meticulous with the painting but also with the prep work. The final result is more than we expected and the cost was more than fair. Chris worked around our schedules and was always here as promised.

Excellent. I made preliminary arrangements with Chris about three weeks ago. He called back a couple of weeks earlier than expected and arranged a specific date and time to complete this small project. He showed up early and did a fine job. I appreciate that he protected areas from spills and also cleaned up the paint chips.

the over all experience was amazing. I contacted several different painters through angie's list; they gave me estimates, but varied in terms of availability, price, and professionalism. Chris was available soonest, although as I understand, his schedule fills quickly once the weather turns nice.
Professionalism: as a younger individual with considerable craft knowledge (i have renovated an old vic, am familiar with plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry work and have done a fair amount myself), I felt that Chris was the only service provider that respected me, and did not discount my knowledge or treat me like a 'kid' simply because I look like i'm in my early 20s. Chris was available by phone, always returned my phone calls, and in the end, worked his hardest to ensure I was happy with the quality and outcome of the job. He respected my wife, addressed her concerns, and treated her with the same professional attitude as he did me.
We had paint colors picked out, but as he finished one room, she did not like the color. he was understanding of our feelings, allowed us to select another paint color, respectfully shared his advice (the tan I selected was too gold; I ended up going with something more neutral) I paid an additional sum for the extra labor, which is definitely fair, but felt that in general his price accurately reflects the skill and work he provides. he does all the labor himself--there is no crew except for him--so it is nice to know that all the money goes to his family.
I cannot emphasize enough that his skill is worth the price; he is, as he describes, and quot;a pro's pro.and quot; I received estimates both cheaper and more expensive (i.e. he is middle of the road, aka 'sensible'), but I was impressed with the value I received for what I paid. For example, he cuts straight lines with just a paint brush--which is how it used to be done (old school)--and understands the necessary prep work that must go into a wall before throwing up paint colors. Going from a dark, midnight blue to an off white is not an easy thing to do, but he was able to do it with a coat of primer and two coats of paint.
His estimate on materials tends to be a high estimate; that way, you do not get hit with hidden costs or extra. He presents receipts and only purchases paint, caulk, and other job-related costs. (i.e. he brings his own drop cloths, ladders, etc...) In the end, because I was working with a tight budget, he was able to get materials $100 under the quote. He knows how much paint will be needed, knows prices of cans at contractor and DIY stores, and so has a good sense for how much materials will likely cost.
Lastly, I felt comfortable leaving him with a key when I was unable to let him in.

Overall a wonderful experience and I hope others may experience his attention to detail, personability, and professionalism.

We were extremely pleased. The price was competitive or lower than all the other offers. Quality was outstanding. You can tell that Chris knows only one way to work; a 100% commitment to quality. I really think he would find it difficult to leave the job site if the work was not 100% satisfactory. Chris worked with us in going for the look that we wanted, but was also willing to provide his perspective when requested. He was also very accommodating in meeting our schedule.

We really appreciated the way Chris fit us into a busy end-of-season schedule so that the house was protected for the winter. He did a great job, and was great to work with. We've already made arrangements for him to do further work in the spring.

They did a fantastic job! First, the estimate was very reasonable, considering the amount of work they did. Chris in particular is absolutely meticulous in the details. Everything was exact and neat. We really appreciated all the time he took to make sure the result was excellent.

He has done two separate projects for us and both times quoted a decent price and did the job in just the time he stated it would take. Nice guy and great work.

They were very professional and everything. With so many contractors working here, they adjusted their schedule so that they could be here and get the painting done when other contractors were not here. They would immediately correct any problems that I had. They re-painted the entire ceiling with a flat paint after I did not like the lotion paint that was painted. They have been very good. They did a great job and their price was fair. They were on time and did what they said that they would do. They were very good. They would be doing some follow up work as soon as the other contractor is out of the house. I had a major renovation done. So, now they would touch things off and finish things that they could not do with the present contractors working here.

Very well. He and his assistant came when they said they would, were focused on their work the entire time they were here, and completed the job by late afternoon. The quality of the work was excellent. I rate price as "B" instead of "A" simply because I have little frame of reference, as I generally do not hire anyone for exterior painting. They were the better price of the two bids that I obtained.

The job was completed on schedule, if Chris was going to be late on a particular day he told me in advance. It was done for the agreed upon price even though he did a extra work. I was very impressed with Chris's work and business ethics as well as the quality of his work. He takes great pride in his work and it was a pleasure doing business with him. The house looks better than it ever has and we lived in it for 23 years.

Chris is responsive and professional. If you have always done your own painting (as I have) you will be impressed by the results produced by a professional painter. While the cost was not cheap, neither were the results. If it's your home, and you want a job done right, hire Chris.
