Rochester Premier Remodeling

The 3-D rendering is applicable only to a Kitchen remodeling and NOT for a bathroom. During the consultation we described what we envisioned for the makeover. We received a listing of all of the activities for the project and the labor cost for each. Material estimates and associated costs were not included.

The guy who was supposed to be overseeing the job, Cory; saw him at the start and end - there was an inexperienced crew on my roof for the whole time. There is exceptional damage, leaks, water expansion damage from freezing. I had put new gutters on the home a couple of years ago and someone slid down and knocked off a gutter line. They tried to repair it, but it was never corrected. The list goes on and on. I have a full report from an inspector detailing all of the damage. I'm working with the Better Contractor's Bureau. I'm currently preparing to take them to Civil, not small claims court.

The subcontracted crew that performed the work was excellent - they were kind, receptive to our thoughts, clean, and persistent (coming every day in the height of winter shows great commitment).  And their work was of a high quality.  I would highly recommend asking for Steve's crew to do your work.
I do want to just make a few notes.  Their website and sales person stated that payment was required when all work was completed and that the owner was always on-site.  We were asked to make a "promise payment" shortly after work began for 1/3 the total cost.  And the owner was only present about three times during the duration of the two-month job.  
Overall, we were satisfied with all worked performed.  We did, however, feel that there was a slight disconnect between what we were sold and what we received.  But in the end, the proof is in the completed work, which was very good.

There were some disagreement about final cost, which was a bit problematic, but we were very pleased with the work other than that. I would suggest you make sure you have all the financial things clear beforehand.

We heard about them from a neighbor that had a good experience. We had them put a new roof on our house.

It went well. They arrived on time to start the first day. They required electrical access, which meant having our sliding glass door ajar all day. This did require that I be home to unlock the house each day. We were told it would be 2.5 days to complete, but it took 4 full days. To be fair, our roof proved tricky to remove and the weather did not cooperate. They did an excellent job keeping our property clean each day. This was especially important to me because I have a young child.

My only complaint is that I didn't always know when they were arriving each day. However, we were very pleased with the new roof and cleanup. While it took longer I had a distinct sense that they were focused on doing a good job rather than a fast job.

Everyone from the company was punctual and professional, from the rep. to the foreman to the crew. Their bid was very close to the other ones we received, but CEMAC was best able to meet our schedule to do the roof when our kids were out. They did a great job cleaning up the yard and protecting the shrubs, and had the job completely done in 4 days. (Great weather helped, too.)

Their quote was very reasonable, and was among the lowest of three other quotes. They took extra care to cover all the shrubbery around the house. They cleaned up well every day and I was very pleased with the work done.
