Terrible, paid for a driveway and got a Disney ride. More uneven area than a corncob. Contacted Ace Paving to repair his job, he agreed job was not right and after driving on WHOLE driveway not just the entrance I asked for a complete fix or repair and Adam did not or will not answer texts or phone calls. I would not recommend Ace Paving to do any job for me.

Rochester Driveways came quickly to give us a quote, didn't bother us while we looked for other quotes, and were friendly and helpful when we called back to schedule the work. They were timely and professional, and politely tolerated my questions (and my little-boy awe at the huge machines they used). It's been several weeks since the job was completed, and the driveway is wonderful. The edge work was done well, so it meets the street and the garage seamlessly. The

The job was done exactly as requested, at the agreed upon price. They arrived when they said they would, were professional and the resulting driveway looks great. Chuck was very responsive to any concerns and made sure the driveway was what we wanted and needed. I was very impressed with the use of a paving machine to ensure the driveway was flat and smooth and with how organized the whole job was. Highly recommend.

The did an excellent job. What the owner proposed to do was a multi-step process , that was more thoughtful and economical. It resulted in a driveway that looks good and will last for years. Also, the owner said he would be here & supervise all the work and he did.
The only reason I gave him a B on responsiveness is they were not the easiest company to get a hold of but once we made contact he came when he said he would & followed through. We are very please with the results & recommend them without any reservation.

A lot of places I contacted did not respond or provide references. Rochester Driveways followed through every step of the way, showed up on time, and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. They did excellent work, we are very happy with the results.

This Service Provider did come back and said he was having trouble getting it level. There were alot of problems with water standing after the rain. After this hard winter, we have cracks all along the garage door apron and the edges of the drive way. In just three years, our drive way falling apart. There have been multiple phone calls and the issue is still not resolved. It appears that it may not be the proper materials or application since it does not seem to stand the weight of our cars.

"Dear [member name removed], Upon estimating your driveway, we informed you that there was not a lot of pitch for water drainage. We installed the driveway and tried to pitch the water the best that we could. Unfortunately, there was some water pooling when we were finished. [member name removed] and the owner of Rochester Driveways, Inc. were not real happy with the end result, Rochester Driveways returned to the residence without any additional charges and dug out the existing driveway that was paved. [member name removed] drove on stone for approx. 2 to 3 months, at which time, we installed another asphalt driveway at the expense of Rochester Driveways. Our company feels we went above and beyond to correct the problem, but without installing a drain near the garage, we were unable to completely resolve the drainage issues. Due to the severity of the last two winters and the clay sub soil, some cracking was bound to happen. We provided the service for what we quoted, and can not control the weather or freeze and thaw cycles which happens within this climate."

The company president Chuck Brucato was professional, competent, helpful, and punctual. He appeared with a hardworking crew of ten men who arrived ten minutes before the agreed upon start time. He was willing to accommodate homeowners and garbage pickup during the prep work. He suggested some enhancements of job details and performed the extras without additional charge. The overall price was reasonable and near the bottom range of several other quotes. All of the residents are highly satisfied and we would give Rochester Driveways our highest rating and recommendation!

Charles Brucato, the owner, stopped by on Sunday morning to give me an estimate. The estimate was competitive and withing the range of my budget. He said he was able to do the job the next day. I left the house at 1pm on Monday, July 1, and when I returned at 4:45, the driveway was done and there was not a trace of mess.
The best part was that Mr. Brucato was willing to wait for payment until my loan processed which took a little over 2 weeks.
Excellent work. Knowledgeable workers. Highly recommended.

Chuck is absolutely great to deal with! I had estimates from five different paving companies and Rochester Driveways was given the job. They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the highest, they were right in the middle. I had been referred to them from previous customers and I am so glad that I chose them to do the work. Rochester Driveways showed up right in the timeframe I was given and the driveway looks absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for asphalt work.

Chuck and his crew did a good job on the driveway - they ripped up exactly what they promised, and so far the replacement driveway looks good. His prices seem fair, but about the same as others in the market - of the 5 quotes I had, three of them were $3,000 (Chuck's was one of them) and two of them were $5,000. The warranty is only 1 year whereas others offer a little more, but I chose Rochester Driveways since they seemed to have the most experience with a full rip-and-replace kind of job, and I have no complaints about the work that was done. We'll see if the driveway holds up in the long run, but I don't see any obvious issues yet.
The one thing that might keep me from using Rochester Driveways again is responsiveness - Chuck can be a little hard to get a hold of at times, and did not respond to a request for some further work on the driveway that I needed done. But I can't complain too much about that, and if the driveway holds up that's far more important to me in the long run.
