RL REMODELING

Rich Lipke was paid $14,250 of a contracted price of $28,500. To build my home addition. On 2/13 he was paid $7,125 for deposit to start the project by obtaining drawings & permits...  5 months later on 7/15/13  he was paid $7,125 to start construction and worked 4 hours on that day cutting down my deck. He told me he would return the next day to dig the footers, instead he went on his honeymoon and returned (over a month later) on 8/28/2013 to dig the footer. He spent 8 hours to complete this footer work. He has spent a total of 12 hours working on site. After many emails and phone messages that were not answered I did receive on 9/16/2013 an email stating ?Attention all homeowners with currant work scheduled with RL Remodeling our business funds are currently court ordered seized. This does not mean any prior payments or deposits are lost but at this time we can not purchase materials to compete currant work. Our attorney will also send out a letter shortly.?
Rich Lipke of RL Remodeling walked off the site and left the site in a dangerous condition ( exposed trench to the elements) left in this condition the trench could have collapsed. The work needed to be corrected and completely re worked by a new reputable contractor. My $14,250 law suit is underway.
