 + -1 moreOur deadline prevented the least-expensive options of doing the work ourselves or having a part-time painter complete the job over the summer. Estimates from the large local painting companies were 20% higher than the quote from RJ Painting. Ross Lazzara (the owner) came to the house less than 24 hours after being contacted, discussed what we needed done (and by when), took a look at the house and provided an acceptable estimate. They started on 5/23/2012 and completed the job on 6/7/2012, two weeks later, well within our required timeframe. This is in spite of the normal issues with Rochester weather and a holiday weekend. RJ Painting delivered the contracted work for a reasonable fee, completing it well before our drop-dead date. It involved quite a bit of scraping and priming as well as some manuevering to reach the gable boards on the east side of the house. They cleaned up the job site each night, packing away their gear in my garage. I would use them again.
Description of Work: Scrape, prime and paint exterior of home, including trim, shutters, doors and detached garage. As a condition of refinancing with Wells Fargo, work had to be completed no later than 6/15/12.
