 + -1 moreEd and his painter, Dan, arrived at the designated time. In less than 10 minutes after arriving, he told me that he could not possibly do the job for the amount he had quoted. I told him that I would not re-negotiate. I informed him that he should leave if he could not do the job for the agreed upon amount. He and Dan packed up their equipment. I informed him that I would have to report this on Angie's List. Ed called me an idiot and then tried to get me to purchase the paint that he had already secured.
Description of Work: Ed Amman, of Remodeling Consultants, visited my home and provided an estimate of $500 for painting my master bedroom and $200 for removing wall paper from the adjoining vanity room and bathroom. He later called to say that his painter would remove the wall paper at no charge. I called him four days later to accept the bid and schedule the job. I repeated the conditions that he had offered. He agreed with the conditions and agreed to begin the job 4 days later. He arrived at the designated time.
