Ten days after we signed the contract i called him and asked why I could not find my home in any of the Real Estate for sale web sites.  He called back and said that there had been a problem and he would take care of it.
Three days later, the home was listed on the real estate sites, have to give him credit for very nice pictures.
A week later he called and told us that the price he had said he could get was too high and that we should lower the price.  Same thing happened 2 weeks later.
Two weeks after that he calls me on a Monday and said that the open house on Sunday went very well and some people were interested but that we should consider lowering the price.  Only problem was that we had not had an open house.

The agency represented both the buyer and seller of the house that I was selling for my mother, and I was pleased with how they handled the process. My agent hired a stager out of his own money and was very good in communicating throughout. Gave good advice, recommended a good company to repair a window, and all promises made were kept. I interviewed other agencies and was amazed that some did not keep their initial appointment to see the house. Had no such issues with Re-Max- very professional.

Could have gone better but the Realtor got the job done. My Realtor suggested a selling price for the house that I agreed to and he listed. After only 3 months on the market he was already trying to talk me into accepting an offer that was 15% less than what he originally suggested as a fair price. I refused. Soon after that a reasonable offer came in that I accepted. As the deal was progressing I had questions about the process. I would email the agent or leave a voicemail with questions (he rarely picked up his phone). It took several days, sometimes weeks for him to respond to my messages. Eventually the deal got done but it was a very frustrating process for me because of my agent's unresponsiveness.

In searching houses, she soon enough knew what available properties not to take us to. At one point, at the point of closing on a rental, we backed out - I felt awful, but she never lost her cheer, patience, and optimism. We finally found and bought the house we now live in. She also helped us out with finding a bank, lawyer, insurance agent and utility services. A++ for Margret.

When we decided to move from southern Kentucky to Rochester NY (almost 800 miles) , it was clear that we couldn't constantly drive up and down to see houses. We looked at houses online and contacted Cathy Leal, a realtor from ReMax on Monroe Ave, Brighton. We talked at length by email and phone and she sent lists of available properties suited to our specific needs (most realtors simply send lists of what is available roughly in the client's price range with no regard for their actual needs in a house)

We lined up some houses and made the trip to Rochester where Cathy showed us the carefully selected houses. This was all very intense as it was Thanksgiving and we only had two days to buy a house. Thanks to Cathy we found the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood and she called to tell us our offer had been accepted as we were already driving out of town. During the three months before closing, she stayed in touch with us and gave us lots of professional advice. She attended the inspection because we couldn't be there, did the final walk through of the house and recommended a legal firm to represent us at the closing.

Everything went perfectly. Cathy is friendly to work with and has a sense of humor, we love the house and neighborhood and would recommend Cathy Leal to anyone looking for a house.
