The sales representative was new to the company, but was very helpful in selecting flooring and carpeting within my price range. They were very accommodating with samples to bring home. However, if you do not have a reliable installer of your own to work with, I would not recommend using Pro Source. They provided names of several installers who work with Pro Source on a regular basis. The installer who started the job was incompetent with sub flooring issues and installed hard wood flooring over problems with the sub floor without contacting anyone about the problem. He also made several other mistakes that could not be corrected short of removing the whole floor and starting over. The owner of Pro Source got involved to find a replacement installer who did a good job finishing the project, but unfortunately I am left with the mistakes that were made. It seems as though Pro Source's recommendation of installers is based more on the personal relationships between the sales staff and the installers rather than on the competence of the installer or the right match for the job.

I don't do as much purchasing of flooring as I did in the past and have not been at Pro Source for a long time. On a recent job, I decided to use them again. In general, I have to say that they just don't seem real enthusiastic about selling their products for providing customer service. The exception to that statement is Patty, one of the service folks that works the counter. She is very helpful, provides good detail on her estimates, and is very responsive on the phone when there are issues. Some of the other sales / order takers that work there are not worth talking to. Pro Source does have excellent products and a wide variety, but I think they lack customer focus.

We purchased flooring from Pro Source Wholesale Floor; they were very good in terms with providing us with education about the material and they were good when it came to the price comparison. They worked well with the installer. They provided the flooring at a good price and they were a pleasure to work with. The only problem came when we returned some of the flooring they were slow when it came to giving us the refund. I would purchase flooring from them again and I would recommend them
