Dr Mueller is excellent! Our rottweiler has seizures and she has worked with us to get them under control. We have a senior cat and 2 kittens and she has helped with kidney disease, a kitten who ate a rubber stopper and all the regular care stuff. I feel that I can trust the Dr and enjoy my visit. The prices seem high to me but I think they are comparable.

Dr. Herrema is very knowledgeable and he remembers information about my dogs. I feel that my dogs get better medical care from him than when I see my own Dr.s. He gives practical options and really wants to find out what is wrong. If you treat your dogs like your babies, then I would go to him. The receptionists are very good at Penfield too. I would ask to see Dr. Herrema unless you can't wait to get in, and need to see another vet there sooner. Some people rated the price lower, but they have the same prices as many of the other vets in Rochester. I do agree that the prices have increased a lot in the last five years.

I spend a couple hundred dollars on each visit. My dog is diabetic so she has to have blood work when she goes there. They are very personable and easy to work with. They are genuinely caring as far as their attitude towards the animals. They don't provide good kennel service because they don't really have a boarding kennel, but they do offer it. I wouldn't recommend them for that only because they have crates. They don't have dog runs or anything geared towards a long term stay. They are good for vets but not for boarding.
