They showed up perfectly on time, which was great. However, after the inspection, they just said that a flue tile was cracked and the whole thing needed to be re-lined and did not touch on the fact that the crown was cracked and needed repair, which I knew from a recent home inspection. They asked if I wanted a quote to have taken care of, to which I replied definitely as I want to use this chimney, which is why I was having it looked at. I never received that quote. I also requested to have a chimney cap installed on both chimneys. When I looked at the chimneys after they left, they put a cap over one flue opening on each chimney, leaving an open flue on each chimney, which completely defeats the purpose of paying to have a cap installed. After calling and relaying my frustration, I was told that I would receive a call back. I did not receive this call, so I followed up the next day, to which I was promised Tom would call me that evening. I never received any call and was never followed up with. In summary, I paid over $400 for an inspection that told me nothing and two chimney caps that over cover one of two openings on each chimney, along with no information on the cost or process to repair the problem that they indicated.

Called their number on March 28th and got voicemail. I should have known that was a bad sign if they can't even afford office staff. The next day, March 29th, I got a text from Justin saying he would call that evening. He never did. I texted him back the next day and got no response. I called the original number and left another voicemail asking if they were legitimate since they didn't keep their word. I got a call from Justin saying he would be here at 11am on Thursday, April 6th. At 11:25 on April 6th I texted to find out if he was still coming and he replied saying they had to reschedule due to the rain. He did say he was sorry for not letting me know, but it's highly unprofessional to stand up an appointment without so much as a call. I asked when they would reschedule and never heard back. It's April 19th as I write this... I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not paying hard earned money for a company that can't act professional and is too lazy to keep their word. Why run a business if you can't keep your word. My money is good elsewhere though. I won't waste my time with these inconsiderate people.

We've had our chimney cleaned by Ingram's Chimney Sweep many times and have always been very happy with their service, professionalism and how knowledgeable they are. We will use them again when the time comes.

It went very well, he was a little early and came in to inspect our wood burning insert. He then determined it needed to be cleaned and brought in his equipment and laid down drop cloths from the hard wood to the insert. He took his time to get the chimney very clean and then removed his tools and drop cloths. Everything was still very clean around the insert and on the carpet after he was done. He then went onto the roof and even repaired a crack with some silicone. Lastly he answered a number of questions I had as a first time homeowner. It was a great first experience, I had been a little nervous about it just because I've never had to deal with a fireplace before. He even offered to pick up a few accessories if we wanted, in case we weren't comfortable getting them ourselves. Definitely would recommend.

The whole experience working with Ingram was excellent. They were especially neat.

Jim and Tom were on time, very professional and very nice. They did a great job. They didn't charge anything above the quoted price. They left our house cleaner than when they arrived. They are overall fantastic. I will hire again!

Honest and thorough. We will hire for our future fireplace and chimney needs.

I was pleased with the ease of making an appointment. They have a real person answering the phone and she gave me an appointment much sooner than I expected. They were on time, called before they came out.  Very clean - used tarps to protect our carpeting.  Very pleasant and respectful guys.  Would definitely recommend them.

Justin was very helpful.  I had just moved into a new home and needed the wood-burning stove inspected/explained and cleaned.  He pointed out a couple issues with the stove installation and took extra time to see if he could fix them himself before referring me to the store where the stove was purchased.  Very grateful for his observations and the time he took to explain everything to me and point me in the right direction.

Arrived within the time frame provided to me. Looked at the entire system from the roof down to the wood stove. The crew was polite and professional. A very positive experience. I plan to hire them again.

Really professional and couldn't be more pleased. Easy to schedule the appointment. Arrived within time frame and they cleaned chimney in 30 minutes. Conscientious about keeping my floors clean - laid down cloths, etc. Also, very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of advice. And honest! I will call again for the next cleaning.

I called to have my living room fireplace chimney checked and capped after having a bird trapped in the fireplace. The guys were punctual and polite. They laid down drop cloths to protect my carpet and examined the chimney from both the entire of the house and the roof. They capped the chimney which took some doing as the size and shape were not typical.
They also took a look at the wood burning stove in the family room and gave me quite a lot of useful information about possible replacement options and costs.
I would definitely call them for chimney or stove service.

I called Pat Ingram's Chimney Sweep and explained that I was looking for someone that could clean, inspect and repair my chimney. Two gentlemen came to the house at the scheduled time. They were polite. They took steps to keep my home clean as they performed the cleaning on my first wood burning stove. They then inspected a second wood burning stove and after looking at it decided it did not need to be cleaned. After that, one gentleman went up on my roof to inspect my chimney. I knew that it did need some repair. He took pictures and explained what he thought would need to be done. This person did not feel comfortable giving me a quote for the work and said that he wanted to consult with Pat Ingram before giving me a quote. He said that I would hear back from either him or Pat Ingram. He also suggested that I call for other quotes and gave me the name of a mason. This seemed odd but I didn't give it much thought. I waited 10 days to hear back from them and heard nothing. I called and left a message that I was waiting for a quote and asked if they would let me know if they were giving me a quote or not. I received a call that day from the company and was told that Pat Ingram was out of town, but would call me back when he returned. That was two weeks ago. I wish I could give Pat Ingram a glowing report because the crew that came here did a very nice job. It is just the companies lack of responsiveness that gives me some pause for concern. I wish the company just stepped up and said that they didn't feel they could do this job. But to leave me hanging as to if I was going to get a quote or not was just not professional.

They arrived on time, fully covered the carpet in the living room during the time they were there, worked quickly and efficiently, and were friendly and professional the entire time. They did a very thorough job on the cleaning, and answered my questions (about changes to the fireplace, alternatives, etc.) patiently and fully.
I'm very pleased with the work and the service, and will use them again in the future.

The contractor arrived at the time scheduled and completed all of the work required in a very professional manner. They were very careful to ensure that the area where the work was done inside my house was protected and the required cleaning was done very thoroughly. He answered my questions and provided some guidance on some repairs that will be needed to the chimney mortar cap.
