Shopping for bikes... Met with a sales associate and explained my objectives for a bike: Fitness riding 2 to 3 times per week, from 30 to 60 minutes per ride.She showed me different bikes, different price ranges, and allowed me to ride around the parking lot. Narrowed it down to 2 bikes, a Raleigh Cadent FT1 ($469) and a Specialized Sirrus Sport ($599). Although I don't want or need to spend a lot of money for a bike I felt be much better about the quality of the shifting and braking on the Sirrus.
Their service with the purchase of a bike is comparable to other bike shops.

Brought in my bike because the chain kept falling off the front gears when shifting. They initially made an adjustment - free of charge, including some alignment - and sent me on my way, but this didn't fix the issue. I brought it back and they installed a new gear. Total including labor was $15. I asked about a rear reflector as well, and they gave me one for free. Very honest, very helpful, very reasonable. They will definitely get my business in the future.
