Old To New Bathtub Refinishing‎

Very poor work. Seal didn't hold. Promised the work for 5 years but wouldn't resolve the issue. I am not the first victim of this I'm now seeing. My guess is the positive reviews are clients that didn't wait a couple months for the work to fall apart.

We highly recommend Joe Inclema. His skills and work ethics our A+++. Our tub is like new.

The finish was rough and had an orange peel look . The man Joe that answers the phone was rude and unprofessional. They did Awful job

Ryan did a really nice job - the tub and shower look so much brighter now and they even had to come back to finish up due to the power outages in Rochester.

Overall went well – bathtub is much better than before. Even with careful use and being conscientious of cleaners though (nothing abrasive), some small chips have formed, and some small gaps over tile mortar not covered. Seems more fragile than an original finish. Not sure how this compares to other companies, but overall it looks good and is much cheaper than replacing the tub and tile.

Since we wanted the shower color changed to white, we had to wait for a week where he was doing white. It wasn't long and Joe scheduled according to our availability.
Prep work was done by an assistant early in the morning and Joe came after lunch to do the actual top coat. He has some problems with the spray gun do to the temperature. There were some globs which he took care of on a return service call.
He had to run a ventilation trunk to the bedroom window since our bathroom does not have a window. The process does produce fumes and try as he did, fumes still came into the house. Another issue was dust, although doors were aped over, there dust is so fine that it did get onto the bedroom carpet but came up easily after vacuuming. Given how complicated the process is, I thought there would be more issues and was pleased with how little we had.
The end product was gorgeous, it was like we installed a new shower. Once we slapped on a custom glass door, it was like a brand new bathroom, a twenty year leap forward. Very happy with the finished product and we are using Old to New to redo our guest bathroom.

They showed up right when they said they were going to. They were good about giving me a call the night before to remind me about the appointment. They were clean and courteous. It looks nice. So far, so good. I'm thinking about using them for another tub.
