North Coast Property Maintenance

We decided to use the services of this company because we are old customers. Or better, we were customers, because for sure we don't want to have to deal with them in the future ever again. Despite the fact that I made very clear that I wanted to be informed in advance about the day when they would come, nobody contacted me and so I came back home a Friday evening to find out that I couldn't park the car in the driveway due to the work done, nor could my guests that we had that evening. On the phone, the owner of the company later explained to me that they did try to contact me, but he could not read my phone number in my handwriting. That aside, if it were truly pressing for them to complete the job that day, (although I had previously informed them that it was NOT urgent on my part), they could have at least emailed me. Additionally, I had complained via email about a depression on the driveway where water was pooling after it rained. It had not been there prior to the sealing and were careful not to walk on the driveway for the first 48 hours. The owner stated that this was not their fault and he would not be willing to come to check it out. He continued to try to justify his stance with technical information that was not really here nor there. Furthermore, since my first language is Italian and I have an accent, he asked if maybe I would understand better if someone spoke to me in my native language. After futile attempts to try to communicate my point, I asked him if he was going to do something about the depression in the driveway. He replied, "We didn't do it ", and that was the end of the conversation. Respecting the contract signed, we paid them and they cashed the check. Needless to say, we won't be using North Coast's services in the future.

Very well, they were responsive gave me a good price. The guys showed up and were very quick and professional we were very impressed with the quality of their work. I only wish they would have given us a window of time for their arrival b/c I could have gone out but instead I was stuck at home waiting. But other than that I would definitely be a repeat customer.

I have my driveway sealed every 3 years by North Coast. I make my late summer appointment by the end of May and get a 15% discount. They do a great job and are very neat. I'll be back!

The only suggestion I have is for them to offer a way to fill cracks prior to sealing.

Very disappointing. The driveway is new. They sealed the driveway without being properly cleaned. They sealed over geese droppings and pieces of mulch. The driveway was pooled thickly with sealer on top and all over edges of driveway. The sealer was applied very unevenly. We have a spot in the middle of driveway which is noticeably faded. We also have some areas where the sealer is very thick and gummy. We addressed the pooled sealer with them right on the spot, but on some areas the sealer still looks very thick. We are now concerned about driving over this thick sealer which could possibly stick to our tires, and damage our brand new garage floor.

We have a 950-foot paved driveway. Since we're up near the Lake in Hilton, we get a LOT of snow drift as well as snow fall, and today it was particularly bad due to a snow storm. I called six plow services on Angies List, most of who didn't respond to my calls, said they didn't plow in Hilton, or wouldn't be able to get to me by the end of the day. 
North Coast Sealing responded VERY promptly to my email and voicemail -- in just three minutes!! -- and was at my house within half an hour. He did a great, quick job plowing, including clearing snow away from our garage so I could get out, and was very friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them and would use this company again.

The whole process was friendly, efficient, and very professional. I called, they gave me the quote, set up a time frame, and they arrived as suggested. The gentlemen did an excellent job, and the driveway looks great. The only complaint was from my neighbor because one of the guys was smoking, BUT I do NOT care, but it was a funny observation to list, and she too agreed the gentlemen did an excellent job. I will use them again.
