MSW Sustainable Urban Living
About us
After working 20yrs in jobs unrelated to my true calling I have finally figured it out. I am most happy when I'm being part of a solution rather than trying to make as much money as I can. So I became a Project Manager for The Haiti 10 Year Commission, under the entity of Haiti: A Labor of Love. From the beginning I've found a burning passion and desire to help the Haitian people restore their lives better and more self sustaining than ever before. The organization I worked with has committed to helping to restore; Hope, Spirit, mind, and body, by training to build earthen architecture that withstands; Earthquakes, Floods, Fires, wind, and even bullets! These styles of buildings are formed using 90% EARTH! 90% of the building cost is FREE! After my contract was up I thought I'd use the same principles for my business and find solutions for a GROWING need. Why is this relevant? I am experienced in working, interacting, planning, designing, teaching and much more with multiple culturally diverse demographics. I use these set of skills to aid in my designs and the experiences to guide me in the best course of action. To maximize the potential of any given environment if you will. I am fair and objective, and I have a TON of cool ideas that I can't wait to implement. My billing is simple. A work order will be signed by both partys before any work starts. This will serve as our work contract. All services require half of proposed cost up front, however, some services may require full payment before work starts.
