Mr Dependable Airport Transportation

Very prompt and courteous...even with the pickup being in the early AM.

He was on time for home pickup but I was told to text him upon return for airport pickup. He did not assist in moving luggage to/from the house. Although told I was an Angieslist member, he did give me the discount and then asked if I would write him a review! He gave himself a 20%+ tip. I was tired after a long day and let it go, but here is the review.

Maybe not the very lowest price possible, but dependability is probably greatly appreciated.

He came to pick me up at 4:45 am to take me to the airport.
He was right on time.  The car was warm, clean and comfortable.

We have used this service many times and as usual Evan was on schedule and efficient. Car was clean, ride was smooth and price was fair.

Drove us to the Rochester train station for a trip to NYC. Was waiting at the terminal when we arrived even though we were a little ahead of schedule. Perfect

They were prompt, coourteous, and got me there on time. BUT - the price the driver asked for was higher than the phone quote. When I pointed that out he gave me the phone quote. I didn't bother even trying the online coupon.

Pickup service at home was great - timely, courteous and professional.  However, pickup at the airport was terrible; we were left to fend for ourself at 12:30 at night.  I got a text on the day of pick-up saying the night driver would pick us up and given a phone number to call him in the cell phone parking lot.  The flight we were on ended being delayed about 90 minutes.  I sent several texts to the number provided giving status updates as they were provided by the airport.  When we arrived in Rochester, I had a text apologizing that I had been given the wrong number.  When I texted back asking for the correct number, I was told the driver had already left and suggested I get a cab.I had provided all the details on the flight we were taking, so the driver could have easily checked the airline's web for the flight status, so even if he didn't get my texts, there was no excuse for not picking us up.  In the end, the taxi from the airport was less expensive and more reliable, so in the future I'll just stick to cabs.

The service was terrific.  Evan was willing to take on the job even though it was at the last minute and late at night.  He was very courteous and prompt.  He told me ahead of time exactly how much it would cost, which I really liked.  After a rough travel day, I was so grateful for this very professional and pleasant service.  I will surely call Evan any time I need a ride to the Rochester or Buffalo airport.

He was in my driveway a few minutes early -- which was something like 5:15 am, and much more awake than I was.  He was pleasant and conversed appropriately, without being too "chatty".  The car was, as I recall a Crown Vic, very clean and comfortable.
This driver knew just where to go, whereas I've had to direct taxi drivers who had never apparently driven into the south suburbs before.  
As for price, it was perhaps $5 - 10 more than a taxi would cost, but was a much more pleasant experience.  I feel that the airport transportation prices here in Rochester are generally 25-50% higher than in other places I've lived, but Mr. Dependable's price is in line with the going rate.  

Mr Dependable himself was on vacation so he had a pal (also cab driver) cover his calls. Ordering the cab (from the pal) felt a little unprofessional (cell phone received in his kitchen; kid acting up in the background).  Having said that, he arrived in time, found some short cuts through road construction, and was a likable guy. Got there. Could not have asked for more. Typical cab rates.

Both times they were very good, on time and punctual. Their prices were great.

I had the last flight to Rochester from Atlanta that landed at 1:00AM.  It was difficult to find transportation at that hour, but Evan didn't hesitate to offer Mr. Dependable's services.  On fairly short notice he was on time, reliable, extremely pleasant and I felt comfortable with him especially at that hour.  I would not hesitate to use Evan's and Mr. Dependable's services in the future and likely will.  If you need wonderful, reliable transportation in the Rochester area, I highly recommend Evan!

Excellent service in every way. We used Mr. Dependable for our transportation needs following some prior negative taxi services on our trip. We plan to call Evan at Mr.Dependable during future trips to Rochester and highly recommend his business above and beyond the others in the area.

He is, as his name says, absolutely dependable, prompt and courteous even when I called him at 6am in the morning asking him to pick up my daughter that afternoon. He was even cheerful when I called him at 6 in the morning. The place that recommended him said he was really wonderful, so nice, cheerful and courteous. My daughter thought he was really cool. He showed up when he was supposed to, it was Labor Day, and he drove her to where she needed to be. He drove a black Lincoln, the car was clean, he was a safe driver and it was an excellent taxi service. The nice thing is he takes credit cards. Where my daughter was there were two other taxi companies, but they didn't take credit cards. if I ever went back to Rochester I would use him in a heart beat. I didn't think the price was unreasonable. The local taxi service charged a little less, but on the other hand I didn't call them at 6 in the morning and they don't take credit cards.
