Ooops!  I included this above.  In summary, it went very well.  We appreciated that he cleaned the unit (it was a mess)and made it possible for it to be used during a very hot spell and the rest of summer hot weather especially since my daughter has a 2 year old and new baby . He was great at communicating clearly regarding the condition of the central air unit and wasn't pushy or trying to sell them a new unit.  His friendly professionalism was just right.

The vendor I chose had an edge since he was able to deduct the cost of recent furnace service calls from the total cost. I would recommend Milner Heating and Air Conditioning to a friend.

No problems. I got the owner on the phone when I called for an appointment and was able to schedule the work within a very short period of time. I used the coupon that was on Angie's List and with it saved about $40.00 over the cost of using most other AC services.

They were diligent with the work that they did provide us and they were responsive and willing to answer all my questions. I like them because they are a smaller company. It is family owned and I like that. I like their quick response. We used another company just because the other company gave us a more comprehensive quote and just a little bit more of what we wanted. It was just that they included things that we had not thought about just to make our system run more efficiently and we liked that aspect, that the company was a little bit innovative, just being experts for us and I just did not feel that with Milner.

Great Experience! Dan, the president, responded to my RFQ personally, scheduling a visit which was convenient to me. When Dan arrived, he immediately made me comfortable with his reserved, professional demeanor. Dan let me know what he considered the best value unit for me, and described the tax credit and RGE Rebate I would qualify for. As I got some more estimates, Dan offered the best value, considering the Rebate and Tax credit. I would spend thousands less than I expected, and got a very contemporary unit. The installers came right on time, went straight to work, after befriending my dog. They spent the entire day, working late in the evening, to ensure a successful installation on the first day. When they left, they eplained everything to my wife, as I had an appointment in the evening. They had worked nearly 12 straight hours to complete the installation. I am delighted with the outcome. The installation is attractive and professional, the furnace works very well to promote our comfort, and I have been reassured that they would be available on a moment's notice for service, including warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dan Milner's company to my friends, for a pleasant, non-big-box, company, whose owner earned my trust at first meeting!
