I have used Metro twice for work at my house. The first time, probably 4 or 5 years ago (2013-2014 timeframe) for repair on my central A/C, which just stopped working on a hot day. That experience was an "A" across the board - Chuck came after hours, he fixed it the same day, and the price was more than reasonable. However, in 2016 I contacted them again for a problem with my furnace - it wouldn't stay on - and I would have to rate that experience a "C" or below. The tech (not Chuck) came at the appointed time and was professional enough, but that's about it. He did not fix the issue - the part he replaced, at what seemed a fairly inflated price, was not the problem, and although I'm not an HVAC repairman, it didn't seem that there was a lot of troubleshooting involved. E.g., there as a red light on the furnace that he did not investigate. The charge for the call was $200, 40% of which was the part itself. To his credit, he did mention that if this did not fix the problem, he would return the next day, but I found that it was unnecessary - I did a little research online, discovering the answer myself - cleaning carbon build-up on a sensor. I have since switched to Hawn Heating and Cooling for my HVAC needs.

Excellent service on the first call. Excellent service when they arrive. Which was on time. Extremely professional for a young man. Took time to explain everything he was doing and why. The estimate over the phone had a special going which they quickly told me about. Then at my house the issue with my A/C unit was fixed at a great price and the estimate he gave me was less than he charged. I will used them again and highly recommend them.

Turns out it was something I had done but it was time for a service anyway.
Metro has installed a A/C Compressor for us, replaced thefurnance and installed a replacement water heater. Always prompt and friendly. We trust them to do the job properly and will continue to call them as long as we own a house here.
Highly recommended.

When I first moved into my new home during the Fall of 2012, my realtor sent me a list of contractors and other services that I might need as a new home owner. One of the first things that I did was to have the furnace checked out ( it was the original and the size of a small bus!). I called Metro heating and cooling and was very pleased. Since then, any issues I have, i always called Metro Heating and Cooling. This past winter, the furnace started making a horrible noise, I called Metro heating and Chuck came right a way. We talked about all my options and I decided that it was time to install a new one. Chuck sat down with me and explained everything including what I would need to do to add air conditioning. I was not able to purchase the whole air conditioner at that time but Chuck was able to be flexible and install the furnace and the coil for the air conditioner and then come back a couple of months later and install the rest of the air conditioning. Chuck is always on time, on site with every instillation and there is never an issue with clean up. The other great thing is that his estimate is what he charges (and have always been reasonable!). There is never a surprise. I would recommend Metro Heating and Cooling to anyone.
