ME, MY MOP & I

This company was recommended by a friend. I emailed with a request for service and got a call back the next day. I wasn't able to get onto their schedule for 3 or 4 weeks. To me, this was a good sign.
Below is the email that I wrote to them following the service:

Please remove me from your cleaning schedule. I am very disappointed in the services provided on Monday, particularly for the price that I paid. It is clear that nothing was moved for vacuuming or mopping the floors, not even the coffee table in the middle of the living room that's on wheels! The kitchen sinks weren't cleaned. Though the floors look better than they did beforehand, they were clearly only given a cursory mopping, there was no scrubbing involved. There are even water marks on the glass on my coffee table!
For $120 I expected more than 2 hours of work, and a much higher quality of work.

I did not get a response to my email.

They called the night before and told me they'd be late due to scheduling conflicts. He showed up at noon, cleaned one room, then left the house without saying a word...and never came back. Never returned my emails asking about what happened. A very strange experience. At least he hasn't asked for money. I will never use them again!

Overall we were pleased and it was nice to come home to a clean house.

Very responsive to my initial email to them and request for a quote. I was extremely impressed with how quickly Lisa (one of the owners) responded and provided me with the information I requested. They came to clean my house once and did well with some things, but did a horrible job with some other things (i.e. shower hadn't been cleaned at all, they mopped around area rugs rather than picking them up and mopping the entire floor, kitchen sink had not been cleaned at all). At the time, their website indicated they offered a 100% satisfaction guarantee and would return to fix any issues. When I contacted Lisa to ask that they return to re-clean the shower, and to ask that they do a better job on the other items in the future, it was days before I heard back, and her response was "we're fully booked and can't come back". I then requested a discount off my next cleaning, since I had to re-do some of the work I paid them to do, and she completely ignored my request. Needless to say, I told her they did not need to return to my home, and I will never work with them again. They have since removed the guarantee info from their website. I do not recommend them for any housecleaning services, unless you are not very particular and are willing to pay people to do a less-than-satisfactory job.

They broke something and never left a note or accepted responsibility for it. They left some things not dusted and there were cobwebs in the corners of my foyer. On their last visit, I pointed out areas that hadn't gotten cleaned last time and suggested they were doing the cleaning too quickly. (Neither myself nor the other 3 companies I've used in the past have cleaned my house in less than 2.5 person hours. They were finishing in 1.5 person hours.) After they left, I found at least two of the areas I'd pointed out still not touched. Their web site says "If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning service for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return to re-clean the area/areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you", so I sent them an email about the areas still not cleaned and their response was that they wouldn't work for me anymore. The level of customer service was terrible and they didn't honor their guarantee.
