Mark was great to deal with. He responded to my email quickly and I was able to bring my chairs in right away. These were 40 year old chairs that were starting to come undone. He took them completely apart and reglued them. Mark is easy to talk to and very professional. He explained exactly what he was going to do and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend him.

He did a great job on our coffee table. The dresser was so/so, improved but not great. While he did an ok job, I'd probably try someone else next time.

Mark had touched up and repaired several pieces of furniture damaged from recent move.  I thought the work was well done and asked Mark to fix my computer desk.  He did an excellent job.

Mark did a great job. He re-glued a support piece and reinstalled it. He did it ahead of schedule and at a very fair price. We will be using him to refinish some furniture in the near future.

He came to the house, provided a preliminary estimate, explaining in detail the work he would do and the time frame we should expect.  He was professional, reasonable and personable.  After accepting his estimate, we agreed on a date when he would come and pickup the furniture (we wanted to dis-attach the table legs from the top, and remove the upholstered seats from the chair frames.
The pieces had many dings, and places where the old (thick) finish had chipped... 
 
On Oct 22, he arrived on-time,and carefully placed the furniture pieces in his van, protected with blankets/quilts from potential harm.
He is a one-man refinishing shop, so he does all the work.  He called ahead for a time/day to deliver the completed work back to our home in Webster, and then delivered the completed work on Nov 14 (about 3 calendar weeks).  The pieces looked new again.  The multiple coats of clear gloss coat over a stained finish, were as beautiful as hoped/expected.  
We will be contracting him again to refinish a "sofa" table and living room end table after the holidays.

Results exceeded expectations. The repair is indistinguishable from the surrounding area in color and in finish. A great value. Mark is a self-described talker and some clients may find the discussion very interesting though some others may prefer to be elsewhere in the house while he is working.

Mark has done numerous repairs for me on newer and also antique furniture. His biggest job for me was the repair of a solid cherry dining room table and 2 leaves for that table. Over 30 years, the table has discolored and shown the abuses of children and pets with numerous scratches and marks. The leaves had very little use and showed the original color, although they also had some imperfections. Mark completely stripped and repaired the table to brand new condition. His work, as usual was outstanding and punctual and I would never hesitate to call him.

I called Mark to finish an antique table that has been in my family for many years. It has been stored in our basement for at least 30 years. It was in rough shape. It is a table that starts out as a side table and can expand to a full-size dining table with the addition of three leaves. This was how we planned to use the table. Mark did an amazing job. He was able to take out numeous scratches and several large gashes. He also repaired a not-too-good repair job on one of the legs. I described the color I wanted, and showed him a chair leg to match. I was worried the color would not be right, but it was perfect. He finished ahead of schedule (because I had mentioned we had a family dinner this weekend.) The price was exactly as quoted. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and plan to use him in the future.

Mark did a great job - it was not an easy finish to duplicate - believe me I tried everything that our local hardware and paint stores recommended.

He did a great job. They were easy to get a hold of. I called him and he came down and did his work. He was very good. I paid him and that was it. He was very prompt. I would rate him high overall. I will definitely use him again in the future. I was very happy with their services.

Mark answered my call promptly and picked up the rocker at my house. He was upfront on how much he could do for the chair considering it's age and condition. I like that he called before he came to my house and didn't just give me a "between this time and that time" estimate of when he would be here. He delivered the chair upon completion of his work and his price was what he had given me at the estimate. The chair has been in my family for many, many years and he did a great job of making it serviceable again. I would certainly call him again.

Set has a matching cabinet that did not need refinishing. Mark matched the stain perfectly so it again looks like a complete set. The estimate was exactly what I was charged and I was suprised it was finished within the time frame I was given. This is a Craftsman who takes pride in his work. We have recommended him to those who have seen our table and chairs. Would definitely hire him again.

Mark was extremely easy to work with and I knew, based on his person character, that his work workmanship would be of the highest quality. The finished product is outstanding! Wish I had more pieces for him to do - HIRE HIM!
