He used shotty materials and I am already (1 year) later having to rebuild deck. He claims to know general electrical/plumbing/painting/building but extends well beyond his knowledge and ability. Some of the work looks good superficially but that's it. He was demanding of payments at various intervals, not clearly specified at the outset. Generally would demand payment on Friday at noon. He reported that he had followed through on building permits for the job but did not and we ended up with a stop work order and unfinished work for several months pending permits and inspections--would not have been delayed if he had not lied. He also showed up for meeting with building inspector intoxicated. He has since completed several projects for neighbors and is now refusing phone calls because he is being sued by two of my neighbors. BEWARE. He is one of those contractors that preys on neighborhoods and then disappears with work unfinished.
