Was sent out to my house 3 separate times to fix my brand new oven. When they were set to come the fourth time, they “canceled the job request” without a single call or heads-up. Sorry you can’t do your job properly. 0 stars. Incredibly unprofessional when I did speak with them, and not only that the repairman that was sent to my house was very strange to say the least.

I have had another fabulous experience with this company. From my first call to scheduling quickly and the professional reps that arrived. The work was completed very quickly. Suggestions were made and I added a repair of another appliance at the last minute. The customer service, communication, and notifications were professional, frequent, and friendly. I feel like a valued customer. The overall service fee was less than expected. I am fortunate my appliances are repairable and still alive. I am a repeat customer and will recommend them. Thanks again for the great service.

I called and spoke to Rachael @ Lockwood a week ago and set up a appointment for today (07/14/2020) with their repair man coming @ between 10 am & 12 pm. I received a call this morning telling me that the repairman would be there between 2 pm & 4 pm .That would have been alright, but I already had my person taking off work in the morning to meet their repair man.The lady on the phone became very confrontational with me as I was trying to explain to her that I'd need to get someone else there at the new times. At that point our conversation dropped with a phone disconnect.(my cell service was in a bad cell area and probably dropped the call). I was 2 minutes from my office and figured I'd call back from there. Before I got a chance, I rec'd. a call from a man and I found him also confrontational as I tried to explain that I needed to get someone @ the location to let them in. All this time they questioned my notes taken fron Rachael, a phone operator with Lockwood,I guess, and I felt my integrity was being questioned. I don't understand what kind of customer service they were employing, but my guess was they took another job in place of mine even though I had mine booked for a week before. At the end of my second conversation with this man, he basically told me to find someone else to repair my washing machine. Lockwood was recommended to us from another person that used them. All I can say is, please look else were, if for no other reason the fact how they handled this customer relations, I'm glad I didn't have them do any repairs. I can only imagine what recourse I would have had trying to get them back to correct any work done. Respectfully, Chuck in Rochester

Rochester peeps. Do not go through Lockwood Appliance for a warranty or on your own. Our refrigerator was freezing food, then not cooling and starting to smell like something was leaking ir burning back on Dec 2nd. 1st service call on Dec 5th, had to order a part. My 80 yo dad questioned them, confirming this would fix it. One older gentleman came back yesterday and said it was fixed. Plugged it in , didnt wait and left. This was 3pm. My dad called the office. Spoke to the same receptionist that has been rude to my dad prior to this and told him it can take up to 24 hours to cool. I came home at 10:30 pm. I smelled the SAME smell before I walked into the house! It was smelling like that for hours!!! The freezer was room temp and the refrigerator piece was not cold at all. We unplugged it. Smell is gone this morning. Proceeded to call that office and talk to the rude receptionist who proceeded to tell me that it wasn't the refrigerator, it is borderless and colorless. So I told her she implying that I am lying, when that was the original issue to begin with. This smell was in the house for 7 hours, and immediately triggered a migraine. She said it was something else in the house I asked why the repairman didnt stay to make sure, why it 2 weeks to get part and now I wont have a refrigerator for Christmas and why she is questioning me on what I am reporting. She again stated that I was incorrect and the the repairman was the OWNER!!! Seriously? This is how they run this company? I said nope, calling Home Depot. Btw, I left details out, this high level. Needless to say I am ******.

This was my first experience with Lockwood appliance. I can tell you that I would most certainly call them again. They are up front and honest when answering questions that I had. The office staff was very pleasant and polite, A special thank you to Randy,for fixing the frig. It was nice meeting you,thanks again.

Date for house call was set up easily and the company set a two hour window for repairman to arrive. He told me the oven needed new motor to restore self cleaning feature and the part would be ordered. That part arrived quickly but arrived broken. Part was reordered and was installed without difficulty. Both the scheduler and repairman were both very professional and pleasant. Communication kept me well informed at every stage of service.

My Kitchenaid Refrigerator Freezer was acting up, and it defied all of my attempts to make it work as a DIY repair... very frustrating. I finally said ENOUGH and called for help. I expected an insane repair bill, and a long drawn-out ordeal getting it fixed. I was not aware of an available warranty, so I looked for a local down-home repair guy, as these guys are generally better to deal with than national chains. I called and booked an appointment. A repair man arrived, EXACTLY on time, he quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me that the evaporator needed to be replaced... I braced myself for the bad news... it sounded expensive. There was NO BAD NEWS... in fact, he told me that he could get the entire repair done under warranty. I was not even aware that he could perform warranty service. The parts were ordered and an appointment was booked for less than a week out. Incredible. The day of the repair a different repair man arrived, precisely on time again, and the repair was done in less than an hour. It just doesn't get any better than this. I could have easily been taken advantage of, since I had no idea warranty service was even available. I could have been charged hundreds of dollars for this repair. But the honest people at Lockwood Appliance had my back, and that is so rare these days. I'm more than pleased and I can HIGHLY recommend these good people to do a great job and in a professional manner. The next time I need a repair I will definitely be calling them. And THANK YOU to Angies list for helping me to find them!

Technician diagnosed issue immediately with our front loader washer. Replacement part with service would have run about $275. We opted to buy new machine as our machine was nearing 12 years old and I was not happy with it. We just paid the service call fee which was very reasonable and less than some of the other companies that I called.

Randy arrived on Tuesday, a little late in the day, but diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. The new Control Board took 3 days to come in, unfortunately on a Friday. So, on Monday, the repairs were made around noon.

looked at the dishwasher to see that this in fact was the real problem. Also they said that they now had to order the part and would call to let us know when the part would be in.  by the 3rd week they called to schedule the repair man.  i suggested  a monday or tuesday because one of our family could be available to wait for the repair person more easily with our work schedules on those two days. It is 3 weeks after the original service call was made and after calling they don't even have a tracking number for the parts or know if  or when the part(s) are coming in. . We aren't too pleased with the hap-hazzard methods of handling this issue and would suggest people do their home work when dealing with warranties and the repair companies that take warranty work.

It was wonderful. The guy came here and apparently, a plug needed to be unplugged from the garbage disposal and hooked up and he didn't charge me anything. It was really awesome. I used him before.

Lon Lockwood gave a pretty reasonable estimate to install track lighting in my husband's home office. We hired him and he responded and completed the job in a very timely fashion. During the installation while working at the electric panel in our basement, Lon noticed several "do-it-yourself flaws" . I hired him to return and make corrections, which he was able to do quickly and efficiently.
He is personable and very professional, and I would recommend him.
(Note: the date and the cost I quoted above may be in error, as I do not remember exactly without searching through my files.)
