Though not sure it could be fixed, the owner was willing to try, and sure enough he called us the next day with the good news that he found the problem and would order the part. Less than a week later, we have our lamp in excellent working order, and could not be happier with the professionalism and courtesy shown by this business man. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business!

It’s a very unique shop. He knows lamps inside-out. He knew exactly what I needed when I walked in. He said it was a very common item with this particular lamp. He did what I asked. He even called me when it was completed. The switch only works in one direction and I am not sure it was that way before. When we first purchased it went high and low and now it only works in one of the positions and I don’t know if it’s high or low.

Called ahead gave an idea of what I needed, Brian said to stop on by. I brought it over, gave the details on what i knew. 100+ years old, blah blah etc.
Brian gave me options on what he could do, made it clear that being as old as it was that there were risks if we did certain things. gave me a quote and a time frame, he came in on budget, and in half the time he expected.
i believe he did the best you could do with what he had to work with, its a unique piece and extremely old, possibly one of a kind in america at least, and i'm happy what what he did, and that's what matters. works the way i remember when i was a kid so job done in my book.

Brian repaired a table lamp that others said they couldn't repair. The repair job looks great and lamp, which is old, looks just like it used to look. I could not be more pleased. Excellent work!
