KEADY LANDSCAPING

We tried to work with a well-known local landscape person for three years to help us with the garden that wraps around two sides of our house and is highly visible to people coming up the driveway. We ended up with barren land full of weeds and bad drainage issues. Mark was recommended to us by the contractor who replaced our front entrance, who we were very happy with. I understand that they work together on large jobs. He was the right guy for the job. We only spent about 30 minutes together, and he understood exactly what would be best for the property and make us happy. Three days later he called with a reasonable estimate, and was able to do the work within two weeks. After what we had gone through with the 'well-known' guy it was such a relief! I still have trouble believing that it all fell into place so easily and so well. He did the job described above but was interrupted by one of the strongest storms yet this summer before completing the planting and mulching. Expressway flooding, the works.To my delight the drainage worked perfectly with one small exception that he identified, accounted for, and told us what to do in case there were still problems (a bigger downspout). And this was on loose topsoil, it was kind of unbelievable compared to what it was. He and the crew returned the following day for an hour or so and completed the job. He works with a crew of 3-4, and he does work with them. No getting them started then leaving as we've had other contractors do, he was doing the work and directing the exceptional crew that he has working with him for the whole time. And the guys are great, they work hard and only stop for well-deserved breaks. They're nice, and clean, don't smoke or listen to music when they work. And they even helped my new rescue dogs who is afraid of men, he ended up trusting them. Mark is the kind of contractor that everyone looks for - honest, hard-working, experienced, and knows how to do the right thing all of the way around. Which is why I'm doing this review, you'll be happy if you give him a call. At least, I was.
