K-D MOVING AND STORAGE

With short notice, we arranged for 2 movers to help unload a truck that we'd packed and driven in from out of state.  They showed up on time and worked hard to get everything moved in with care.  There were a few items that wouldn't fit up our stairs, but I took them apart and they got all the pieces moved from driveway to attic in order and carefully.  We would highly recommend them for future moves and will definitely use them again in the future.

K-D was recommended to me by friends, and I couldn't have been happier with them. The two movers arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and not one piece of furniture was damaged. On the day I moved, it also happened to be raining (sometimes torrentially), and they were careful to cover everything with blankets as they carried them outside and loaded them into the truck. There was absolutely no water damage to anything -- the only damp item was my mattress, which probably absorbed the humidity from the air. They did an amazing job, and made a stressful day that much better. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

The company arrived punctually and assessed what they would do; then went about their business with amazing efficiency. The three men were very polite and professional. They used a lot of padding and care in protecting the furniture. When we got to the new location, they were again efficient in unloading the furniture, handling it with care and consideration.  They  spent some time getting various large pieces in the exact location that I wanted and even made some good suggestions. I was very pleased with the service and have already recommended them to someone else who hired them as well.

I have used K-D before and would use them again. In fact, I would not consider another mover. Both times they were on time and very professional. They get right to it (charge is by the hour) and don't waste time. Ken is great. It is a pleasure just to talk with him as they are working. Hourly rate is a little higher than some other movers - but you get what you pay for. Linda is always helpful in booking the job and following up. Great company, great service, a pleasure to work with them. Honestly - we used a different company for the bulk of this move. (I had forgotten about K-D; I only used them for a small job 2 years ago.) The rate was a little lower but it was a day of nothing but headaches. That's all I will say about it. I wish I had used K-D for the whole job!

They were very responsible, professional and courteous.  Nothing was damaged.  Would use them again.

The two movers arrived approximately 15 minutes early and were ready to work.  We began with a tour through the apartment, pointing out what needed to be moved which allowed them to assess what would be moved first and loaded into the truck.  Once that was established, they immediately began hauling furniture from the second floor of the apartment.  It was extremely warm and humid day but they didn't quit.  They completed the upstairs methodically and strategically for best placement in the truck.  They used furniture pads and secured the furniture inside the truck.  They loaded everything up in approximately an hour and 15 minutes. They followed us to the new house, we started with a tour and directed furniture as it was unloaded.  The guys were fantastic, very professional, careful, methodical and hard-working.  We could not have been more pleased.  

Excellent. Showed up on time with a team and trucks the right size for the job. Extremely easy to work with--there were 4 of us milling around the house/apartment at the time, with ample opportunity to get in the way, but there were no problems. All items were handled with care; there was no damage. The move was very efficient, no rests or idle periods. I feel we had outstanding service.

K-D moved some large pieces of furniture within my house and out to my garage. They showed up on time and did the work quickly. They were very careful not to scratch the furniture or my wood floors. Very professional work. I'd use them again for any type of moving.
