Hands down- would hire John Marcello again! From start to finish, John was professional and communicative. Wonderful quality work!

Beautiful job. John is very professional. Cost was right in my budget. John wanted to make sure I got the best quality flooring installed which I appreciated. Would recommend to anyone.

He installed it, and that day we saw gaps. In the future, we found out there was milling problems that the contractor did (not from the company who made the product.) The day they were pointed out, he told my daughter to fill it in with some kind of putty. After a lot of details of thing happening, a Quest flooring inspector was called in to look at the job. He said that they floor was to be done without gaps or milling problems, but both were problems in the installation. There were a couple other small problems that needed to fixed as well. I had 3 people come in to look at it, repair it and give me an estimate. The middle price estimate was $3598.93 and NOBODY (out of the 3 people I called) was willing to fix the gaps without total replacement. There has been phone calls and emails through the companies as well as John Marcello. The offer was $500 or he would come in and try and fix it, but he already tried to fill it with the putty. Whatever the putty was, it had shriveled by the time the flooring inspector came.

Slow to quote and kept delaying the install.
Then after quote was accepted, he had forgottent to include all the trim.  Another $400+. To his credit, he did the floor demo in the laundry room for free.  I know he felt bad about forgetting.
Punctual and professional.  Cleaned up everyday.
Job was done 99% but when came back to finish molding around vent, did not bevel like all the other molding.  Looks bad and in a very visible spot.  Also used a board that came with a lifted corner and used in the center of walking path.  And too much trouble to replace.
Quality was ok overall.
Still wouldn't use JRM again.

It was a great experience - one I was dreading but John and his crew did a great job.  They thoroughly cleaned the work area everyday before leaving so we could still use all areas of our home during installation.  We are beyond pleased with the outcome.
