Called Joe's Moving Company for a quote to move a two bedroom room, was told it would be 4-5 hours and maximum of ~$800. Day of the move the movers show up and begin to move. Firstly, the movers and I go over our inventory to confirm everything was accurate, and it all checked out according to the estimate. They began moving. The one gentleman was in his senior years and had been talking about how he has a bad hip and was exhausted for most of the move, so due to that he spent a majority of his time in the truck moving everything around. The second gentleman did a majority of the moving, however he did not use a dolly and every time he asked for assistance from the senior man he was told "he will be there in a minute." For reference, it took them 4 hours just to dismantle the bed frame. The woman was the only good part, she moved the 30 boxes and did mild heavy lifting, which seemed fine to me. Here's where things get terrible: The one gentleman not in the truck, decided to move my dryer from the basement to get ready to put on the truck. Because the senior man was still in the truck, he decided to do it solely with a dolly and no covers or protection. He essentially dragged by dryer up the stairs, causing damage to my apartment, and completely scratching my glass dryer door. Then they began to say "it was not us" but thankfully I had before and after pictures to prove they were and they admitted to it. Next the only man decided to use my apartment restroom, come to find out he smoked in the bathroom, causing major smell in the bathroom that was not easy to get rid of, and proceeded to trash his cigar in the trash bag. The entire time the two men were going back and forth, becoming more and more hostile to each other that it got to a point where I did not know what to do and just tried to calm the situation down. Finally when they were done with my apartment, the said they will "meet us at the new house". They were gone for a whole hour, ignoring calls to confirm if they knew where they were going. Once they got there I asked if they got lost and they said the got lunch, which was totally fine with me, but I wanted to make sure they knew how to get here. It was a 6 mile distance between the old and new place, so I was concerned. Now when they start moving stuff in, the senior gentleman again is just in the truck, along with the woman while the other guy is throwing boxes into our living room haphazardly. We asked if they could be moved into their appropriate rooms, but was told they are "movers, not designers". Again the senior man assembled our bed frame in just under 3 hours. We noticed there were scuffs and damage to our bed frame, since we saw them literally throw the boards onto our driveway. After everything is said and done, it was over 9 hours later, and I was told the total bill: ~$1500, including their hour lunch break. I paid so they would leave my house, however I attempted to call Joe to see if we could negotiate the total bill, but no answer. After unpacking my boxes, I found that a couple of my items were missing, my apple HomePod and my apple AirPods Pro. We told them not to touch our HomePods as we were going to move them, and my AirPods were in a box by my nightstand. After investigating on the "find my phone" app on my iPhone, I found out that my items were actually TAKEN. Now I finally called Joe again to see if I could get a response, and to summarize this is how they said they would "make it right". 1. buying me a new HomePod (have yet to receive) 2. Refunding me 30 minutes for their lunch (Again they were gone for an hour) That's it. The original estimate of my intact stuff I went over with sales individual stated 4-5 hours MAXIMUM total of ~$800. In short, my stuff was stolen, my property damaged, and totally bait and switched on price. I will be see...

These guys are rockstar monsters. They killed it! I can say enough about the hustle they threw down. Amazing!

The 2 movers I had did a great job

Movers were very personable, but were not given the proper size truck for the job.

Reasonably priced, two-man crew was polite and efficient as the could be with just the two of them. Nothing was damaged or broken, so very pleased!

After packing the truck, instead of going right to the new house they went downtown and parked. Idk maybe got something to eat. So I believe I was charged about a half-hour more than I thought I should have been.

Angie list matched up this provider with us and set up an appointment for estimate without checking with the company for availability with the company. Then sent me a notification canceling the appointment saying they couldnâ t verify they were coming. I called the company directly to see what was up. They kindly gave me an estimate over the phone and arrived on tome for scheduled move date. The 2 guys they sent were courteous and careful with our belongings. I was very pleased with the company but angiâ s appointment setting feature needs work!

From the moment Matthew called me to schedule, everyone was very organized and professional. The movers were on time, easy to work with, and FAST. Price was reasonable, only thing I can complain about was no one told me about the 4 hour minimum until after the fact. Had I known that, I would have had them move more stuff versus my Dad and I moving stuff in our cars.

They did a very good job. I had some heavy furniture and tight doorways and they managed to get every thing in.

They where very personable hard working men !

Two of Joe's super strong movers were able to maneuver a VERY heavy sleeper sofa from a house with a narrow pathway to my even smaller home with lots of tight corners and small doorways. Also, I was impressed with how kind and well-COVID-mannered they were!

The were professional and friendly

Joe is an actual live person who owns, runs, and personally monitors the moving. Therefore, unusually good.

I did serval moves , two storage unit and finally a piano move. And been disability with a stoke two yr ago. Call Joe Moving and it was best choice

The whole move went great, Joey and Justin were excellent and very professional in everything they did they exceeded our expectations. We were completely satisfied . If you want a great moving experience, then I would strongly recommend that you use this company.

Can't say enough good things about our experience with Joe's Moving Company. From beginning to end they were courteous, professional and explained everything. In the end, they moved way more items than we thought they would and for an extremely reasonable price! The three guys that did the move were phenomenal. They got the job done quickly, safely and were fun to have here. Even the torrential downpour during unloading didn't get them down! Thanks guys!!!

The two movers were friendly, personable and hard working. They worked very well together. They were prompt, quick, but extremely careful, and completed the job in a timely manner. Started with 2 guys and a third joined. The guys were all very nice and friendly and extremely helpful. My move was rushed and not everything was packed, they pitched in putting items in boxes to help out. I can't say enough good things about this company and the employees!!

This is a very reliable moving company. Joe is just wonderful to deal with. Two men were sent out for our move. They were professional, kind, personable. They worked very hard within the time frame estimated. The fee was very reasonable considering all they had to deal with. Please make sure you tip the movers assigned to your move. You will be very pleased.
