Jeff was able to find a solution around the issue I had with being able to connect a new fan to a remote as well as install it to the ceiling. He did it all in a very timely manner but also took the time to listen to me and answer my questions.

We found Jeff on google and called him to help us out with an electrical problem we were having. Our pool pump started tripping the circuit breaker every time it was turned on. Jeff came over the next day (8/30-18) to diagnose our problem. He told us he found a bad circuit breaker and replaced it. The next day our circuit started tripping again. It was a holiday weekend and Jeff said he would try to fit us in the following week to look at it again. The pool was green and we were unable to wait that long. We called another electrician who actually diagnosed the problem properly instead of just doing the easy thing...there was a short in the outlet itself outside. (Jeff admittedly never checked our outlet!). We tried to reach out to Jeff to have our $50 diagnostic fee refunded, since he didn't do any diagnostic at all but he ignored our emails and voicemail. I would think twice before using Jeff Thomas Electric!! Not professional at all.

Jeff Thomas has done excellent work on three separate occasions at our house. I highly recommend his service and will certainly use him again in the future. The first project was to install three new electrical outlets and run cable for us to install three wall mounted TVs. Jeff completed this work in one day with part of the work being in our garage on one of the coldest days in January. The second project was to upgrade our electrical panel from 100 Amp to 200 Amp. Jeff did great work here. He worked with our town to pull the permit and also with Fairport Electric to schedule the connect/disconnect of the main electrical. He also added new grounding. The new panel was very organized. This work was completed in a day and a half. The third job was to install a new bathroom exhaust fan and a new exterior light. This job included adding a new exhaust vent to our roof eave and modification work to the siding. Jeff even replaced our second existing exterior light without an added cost. Everything looks great and he was able to complete all of this work in one day. Jeff was very thorough and safety conscious. He respected the electrical code and took the time before starting the job to plan out what needed to be done. He put in three very long days to complete this work and we felt comfortable with Jeff being in our house unattended. Much appreciated! Great Job!

I contacted Jeff for an estimate to replace our circuit breaker panel and upgrade from 100 to 150 amp service. This also required moving the meter from the basement to the exterior of the house. When I called, Jeff actually answered the phone himself, promised to come the next day for an estimate, called that morning to confirm our appointment, and arrived on-time. His price was consistent with other estimates I received, but his demeanor was very professional. After obtaining 3 quotes, I decided to contract with Jeff and he scheduled the job a few weeks out. On the scheduled date, he arrived on-time and spent approximately 10 hours completing the work, including labeling the circuits. The electrical inspector who checked the work also had positive comments about Jeff and the work he does. He was just a pleasure to do business with.

Jeff came out the next day and quickly determined the problem. This fixture had been improperly installed when the house was built several years ago. The light weighing 30 or so pounds was literally hanging by it's wiring. He removed the fixture and replaced the box structure to make it secure. He then reconnected and rehung the fixture. He did it all quickly without any damage to the ceiling.
This is the second time I have used Jeff. Previously he installed an attic fan. I would not hesitate using him again. He is an efficient no nonsense professional.

Jeff was very professional from the initial phone call. After I explained what I wanted, he offered solutions better than my initial request. He outlined both the material and labor costs, and provided a copy of his insurance before he started. He was very clean, courteous, personable and professional at my house.
