Purchased in Early January. Delivery promised for end of March. When we hadn’t heard anything by Early April my wife called to check on it and was told the furniture was completed and waiting to be shipped. They stated the delay was due to COVID. She was told everything would be “on the next truck” and at the latest that would be early May. When it hadn’t arrived and she had not been given any update she called again and was told it wasn’t on the first truck as expected but it would be on the next “for sure”. They would call on Monday to arrange delivery. Monday came and went with no call. When she again called to see when she could expect delivery she was told someone would call her back. Another week went by with no call back. When she called again she was told the furniture had not yet been built! She was also told it was coming from two different places! When I heard this I called myself and asked to talk to someone in charge. I told him I was fed up with my wife being lied to and that we either needed the furniture soon or we would have to cancel and get our sizable deposit back. He told me he would do everything possible and extend a “sizable discount” for our trouble. As we ended our conversation that discount seemed to change to a gift card. Fast forward to September, after many more phone calls and unkept promises the furniture finally arrived and was delivery was arraigned. When pressed about the promised discount we were told they would give us a $200 gift card. When we told them we preferred a discount we were told we’d have to “call Jack” and were given his cell number. Jack was very rude, told us we were getting nothing and if we didn’t like it “contact the attorney general”! Then he hung up. If my daughter hadn’t been desperate for baby furniture, the baby was born in June, I’d have put it all in my truck and brought it back and demanded a refund! Terrible company, terrible customer service.

Michael, the store manager, is very unreliable.
Description of Work: We ordered and purchased a custom bedroom set on 8/25. We understood that the majority of work would be scheduled and completed by an Amish company in Ohio and it would take a couple months.
