Invisible Fence of Upstate NY

At Invisible Fence the radio collar was included in the price. I have used them for 15 years.

The salesman came and appeared very knowledgable and willing to meet out needs. Showed us sales material but did not leave us with any written material other than a very generic sales agreement. Was able to "work with us" on the price, but as it turned out the company just installs whatever you pay for. That is to say he sold us one model, but they installed an older model. It was a classic bate and switch! When the invisible fence was installed the transmitter installed was NOT what we were shown at the sales meeting. The one installed was an older version with less capabilities. The one installed did not have the function of multi-level correction setttings, which was THE main feature we were sold on. Upon complaining to the company, I did "battle" with the owner who said the salesman could not have sold us the newer version because it was not even out yet- this was a complete lie! In fact, the newer version was on the sales material and was the only one pictured on their website as well. It was a very uncomfortable experience and only after I threatened to report them to the BBB and the NYS attorney general did I get any compromise. The compromise was for them to give a different receiver (not the newer transmitter that we were shown in the sales presentation). Overall, I was very dissappointed and would NOT recommend them.

Invisible Fence is very unprofessional. They didn't stand behind their work. We had a problem and they only would fix it half way. The staff wasn't very cooperative. The owner was very nice though.
