The guy I talked to on the phone was wonderful but one of the workers was not very pleasant to work with. I got a quote for 14 air ducts to be cleaned. There was a possible added charge for number of vents and year of house. The two guys were half an hour late and the main guy that was rude was on his phone in the driveway for at least 20 minutes before doing any work so that was almost hole hour. The job was estimated for 4 hours of work but they said they were finished after an hour but still wanted to charge for the whole 4 hours. There ended up only being 10 air ducts altogether. I remember the lead worker telling me, “It was going to be an easy job. I’m the best and fastest worker of the company.” I have vents in the garage as well and they were left open as well as the covers. I didn’t really like that worker though. I told him that I did not want the disinfectant to be sprayed because I have asthma and they didn’t however it was put in the furnace. I told him I didn’t want any at all and he, in a very unprofessional way, snapped back and said :that’s just what we do.” I had my asthma act up pretty bad for the next few days. The one worker that wasn’t the leader was nice and kept conversation but the main guy I wouldn’t recommend to anybody. Also the salesman on the phone was very nice and pleasant to talk to. He also split the difference with me.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with the two men who came to my house. One of them acted as if he wanted to be somewhere else and made me uncomfortable. I was particularly disgruntled that these men didn't reset the duct valves to their original position, thus messing up the air balance in my heating system. I thought that was really unprofessional. In the end, there wasn't even really that much dirt in the ducts. I wish I'd never done spent the money.

It went very well - both men were very professional and kept working right along for about 2 hours or so. I've noticed a BIG difference in air quality, and the need to dust my furniture so often. I have a 1200 sq ft home that just turned 18 years old this past June. Over that time, however, I've had hardwood flooring installed and refinished (including sanding again) - so I needed to get to these ducts this year. So glad that I spent the money!

The 2 guys arrived 30 minutes early after calling to make sure it was OK. They both wore clean, uniform shirts, and were well groomed. They acted professionally. They taped up all the registers to prevent the cleaning solution entering the living area from the ducts. They vacuumed the bathroom vents. They fixed two defects (i.e. large holes in the basement side) in the cold air returns at a reasonable cost. They showed me the dust & foreign material they had collected from the cleaning. It was a reasonable amount, considering the ducts hadn't been cleaned in 20 years & they used a wet cleaning solution. They sealed the holes in the ducts that they had to make & cleaned up well. I have allergies. The next morning, I noticed that I wasn't as stuffed up as I usually get.

To start with, I had to tow their service van and "COLLOM" duct cleaning vacuum up my driveway (which isn't that steep at all). Then I had to listen to two disgruntled employees, one of whom REALLY hated his job, just totally trashed their employer and his secretary! They complained about the hours, pay, lack of knowledge of their boss, etc. It was incredible and I should have told them to leave at that point! They proceeded to cut holes in the ductwork every few feet and vacuumed for about 1 hour. When they called me down to inspect, they pointed to a tiny pile of dust bunnies and a dog toy on the basement floor behind the furnace. The radio ad talks about a large garbage bag of dust on the typical job, and I just couldn't believe the pitiful results for my $535.00 bill. Our house is 35 years old and the tiny pile on the floor just didn't seem right! To add insult to injury, I noticed a gaping hole in the supply duct just above the furnace. The guy in charge said "oops, forgot one".
