Imperial Granite & Marble

There's a reason they have so many good reviews. They were extremely responsive via email when we were planning our new countertops, very helpful at their office when picking materials, and the installers were fast and very friendly. Would definitely hire them again in the future!

Imperial Granite and Marble did an outstanding job on our quartz kitchen countertop. Selection was good. Price and quality of installation were excellent. The owner Walter runs an excellent operation. Would highly recommend.

We researched a few places around Rochester for Absolute Black leathered granite counter tops as part of a kitchen renovation and received some quotes. At a family get together, we mentioned the kitchen project/granite research and immediately had three (3) people bring up Imperial with glowing recommendations for quality work and excellent pricing. We did a bit more research and decided to try Imperial. The price quote was significantly better than other places. Based on the price, the three (3) recommendations and additional research I did, we awarded the job to Imperial. We were not disappointed. Absolute Black is somewhat unique. It is the densest/heaviest granite and I had read conflicting comments about maintaining it; most said that it should not be sealed because it is not porous/doesn’t allow for absorption of topical treatment. A few comments indicated that it should be sealed. When Walter (the owner) came to do the templating, and I asked him about the sealing issue. He was very knowledgeable about Absolute Black and provided me with a deep level of detail The net of it is that no sealer or enhancer should be used on Absolute Black because it won’t absorb anything because it is so dense. Topical treatment will actually cause problems - the counters will become greasy and show chalking/rings/marks. Clean with dish soap & water. Finally, the quality of the work (templating, installation, fit & finish, clean-up) was excellent. Combined with Walter’s professionalism & knowledge of the stone and the excellent pricing, Imperial Stone+Granite is a great value. Highly recommended without reservation!

Recently had granite countertops done in my kitchen. Great company that does quality neat work for affordable prices. Good job,would recommend this company .

Imperial did a very nice job.

We had a great experience with this company. Everyone that we had contact with was professional and friendly. After talking with about 5 companies we felt the most comfortable with Walter and his team. When it came time to the job they were efficient. A huge plus when working with Imperial - they are an all in one company. They were able take care of demo, install of the counters and re-connection of the plumbing. We discovered that all of these services in one company is hard to come by so when we heard they do it all we were beyond excited. We will be using them for the tile back splash - but that hasn't happened as of this review.

Top quality results and followthrough!!!!!

Imperial worked with us efficiently to make everything we were looking for possible. The island in my kitchen is 122and quot; long and It has no seam! I also had 2 bathrooms installed with granite of an exotic stone for the vanities. The owner included all the under mount sinks that I was able to chose. The craftsmanship is not comparable to any other I've seen. I would recommend imperial to everyone and anyone to experience the smooth process and amazing quality of perfection I have.

They did an all round great job and at a better price than the other fabricators we got bids from. We saved enough to cover the price of a travertine backsplash .We have a 17ft. run of countertop which required two pieces and the seam is much better than we expected with our choice of an exotic stone. They even came back and drilled another hole for an additional soap dispenser.

PERFECT JOB AND YES IVE USED HIM AGAIN FOR OUR PANTRY. WE NEEDED ANOTHER HOLE CUT FOR OUR SOAP DISPENSER.. HE CAME RIGHT OUT AND GOT IT DONE AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP NICELY.. I RECOMMEND HIMN EVERYWHERE I GO. WE LOVE OUR KITCHEN AND THE GRANITE...

Walter did an excellent job with our counter tops. He offered valuable information about different material choices. He designed and installed the counter tops in a very timely manner as well. We had a great experience and could not be happier with the way they turned out.

The owners wife spent desired time I needed to help me chose the best quality and the perfect elegant color granite for my kitchen! All the measuring and templating was done precisely by the owner himself to ensure the best quality in the end result.  The staff met all my expectations and took care of any concern that I had.  When the crew arrived to install my countertops, the owner was at the job site and they were all very polite and professional.  The quality of the completed work is like no other and as Imperial was highly recommended to me, I will highly recommend them to others as well.
