Handyman Service
I thought I was just having some basic handy work done, a couple of doors, repairing some trim, that kind of thing. The doors weren't hung properly, blamed it on the door manufacturer. Nothing was level, the hinges were all messed up and the threshold wasn't reinforced. The trim job was piece meal with more construction glue & caulk, rather than any wood. When he was questioned about it, he lost his cool and tried to charge me more. He used Melamine to frame out an exterior post that was supposed to be wrapped in aluminum. Needless to say, he didn't come back and I have since spent more time and money repairing his so-called craftsmanship. The real craftsman I hired just scratched his head at it and told me he couldn't believe what he saw.
