I've known john for over 10 years, he has done 20-30 service upgrades for my company, complete addition/garage wiring, hot tubs, generator hook ups and etc. he's up front and honest guy, does great work, at a very reasonable price, by the book and by ny code. highly recommend to anyone!

John did a great job.

Gian and his crew did the work in short order. Coming back next week to install a new breaker box. These guys are great. Always prompt, always courteous and always quick. Had a problem on a Sunday with the install and Gian came right out to fix it-no charge. Having GRM back next week to update all our outlets.

I sent John an email describing the problem and he responded quickly. He was on time for the appointment, quickly found the issue, and repaired it (overloaded circuit had burnt the wires going into the circuit breaker). He also suggested a separate outlet w/a separate circuit breaker for the portable A/C unit to prevent a future problem. Everything was completed with one service call in approximately 1 hour. We would DEFINITELY call John in the future for our electrical needs!

I don't know the exact date of service, but it was sometime in January.  GRM was coming out to give us an estimate; they arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, gave us the estimate (which was $200 - 300 lower than expected!), and asked us when we wanted the job done.  We said "the sooner the better," and within 45 minutes someone was on site getting the job done.  Everything was done to perfection, and when the electrician asked me for a dustpan, I needed someone to hold me up!  He cleaned everything up, and left the area in as good condition as he found it, if not better. 
I would (and have already) HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work done.  Their price was incredibly reasonable, and the jobs were done exactly as I wanted them to be.

One was an ancient light high up on a brick garage that required a good deal of wrestling to remove the old one in order to put up the new one. As always, prompt, professional and affordable. You don't need to look anywhere else for your electrical service!

Quick to schedule, work is done quickly and competently at a reasonable price. We will continue to use them.

Gianfranco was quick on his response time and switched his schedule around to accommodate my very busy schedule. He arrived exactly on time and got the job done quickly and effectively. He cleaned up everything when he left and was a pleasure to work with. This is my second time using GRM Electric and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know.

I called for an estimate, John arrived exactly on time the same day!  He was so professional and friendly with such great customer service.  I was indecisive about what I wanted in my home, but he was so patient.  The following day, Brian arrived promptly to do the work. He cleaned up wonderfully after the work was done.  John, the owner came to my home after the job was finished to inspect the work.  I explained how unbelievably pleased I was with the work, their professionalism, and their extraordinary customer service. I would highly recommend GRM if you need electrical work.

The installations went well and they were very professional and personable. 

They had to remove part of the basement ceiling for the work to be completed and do so very carefully and they cleaned up afterwards.

They had to punch a few holes in the wall to complete some of the wiring and they patched the dry wall as well to the point it was ready to paint (we painted it as part of the change in ownership move in).

They installed the lights and power circuits in the work room exactly how we requested them enabling the work benches to easy support the power tools etc.

The initial installation had to minor follow-up items and GRM was very proactive in getting back to us and fixing them quickly and at no additional charge.

We are very pleased with GRM and would highly recommend them to others.

John is my go-to guy now. This is just the most recent job he has done for me. He is always prompt, professional and helpful. It is a relief to know I have an electrician I can call on who is so reasonably priced and reliable.

This is the second time I have used GMR Electric. The first time was two years ago to install ceiling fans in all of my rooms. Today's job was to get an outside GFI circuit working which hadn't worked in many years and to repair an outlet that I tried to install on my own. John arrived on time and started with the basement outlet problem. It took him about 10 minutes to figure out the wiring and where I went wrong. There were a few minor "gotcha ya's " along the way but he had the outlet working in about 30 minutes. He then tackled the GFI outlets and had them working in another 1/2 hour. Total time he was there was about one hour. He worked professionally and efficiently and gave me all of his attention even letting multiple phone calls go straight to voice mail.

Walking into this project I was extremely nervous and expecting the worst. The project took approximately 5 days and the work was performed while I was at work. On the first day I expected to come home to a disaster zone. To my surprise, my house looked as though no one had been there; and this was the way the home looked each day. I consulted with many, many electricians who turned down the project and this was quite discouraging. I am extremely satisfied with the worked performed and GRM will definitely get my business in the future. GRM was the first company to complete an estimate. GRM was ready to perform the work without delay. Communication was great. Thank you GRM for setting my mind at ease and allowing me and my family to sleep comfortably knowing that electrical problems are now a thing of the past.

Entire job went very well. Took about two hours to re-wire everything. I sleep better knowing the electrical work is up to snuff now!

Went well. The electrician arrived on time and got started by 9. Power was out most of the day, but they had warned us about that earlier. Work was done by 4:30. They took the time to label the circuits on the breaker box for us. They cleaned everything up and did a very professional job.

You might think the advertised price is too good to be true, but in this case it wasn't. The price was exactly as quoted, scheduled promptly, and finished on time. GRM left the work site orderly, and scheduled the follow-up inspection so that all was seamless.
I could have used some more advice on the placement of the meter as I didn't fully understand the visual ramifications. This isn't GRMs fault, just a word of advice to future customers to discuss this in more detail. We have a difficult situation, and I will probably have it relocated.

We are new homeowners and this was the first electrician we hired.
The workman (Raphael) was very pleasant and easy to work with. He cleaned up when he was done, ensured everything was in working order before he left and offered suggestions for further improvements in the future.
We will definitely be calling him back to do more work for us.
It was a pleasure to work with this company.

GRM installed a transfer switch so I could power selected circuits from
my generator. They performed the work quickly and efficiently and
everything looks very professional. A few days after the installation I
asked if they could make change to the circuit choices, which they
accommodated, making the change only a couple of days later.

They were also friendly and helpful, giving me a hand with some things that were not in the scope of work.
