Everything went well, they came on time finished quickly and very pleased with the results. Looks great!

First time, great. Quality installation, remotes programmed. Second time, now quite as great. Poor communication as to when works would be done. Installer forgot to program the remotes. Installer did not ask about connecting existing keypad or putting in a new keypad. Had to program all remotes and buy/install keypad myself. The owner, Greg, is something of a garage door opener savant, very knowledgeable, but the communication can be lacking. Overall, however, these guys do an excellent install, clean up and take away old materials, and save you significant money. Their prices are about 60% of larger companies.

Greg did a wonderful job.  He special ordered a door to match the existing one, installed it and also services & adjusted the existing garage door so it would work better at no additional cost.  Also, he made several extra trips because the builder, who constructed the garage, did not set up the opening for the new door correctly. That meant Greg had to cut out the concrete opening.  He made a special trip to get the saw he needed meaning he make several extra trips over two days.  Never-the-less, he did not charge us any extra even thought he obviously had to spend extra time correcting the situation.  He also spent a significant amount of time adjusting and servicing the old door and again did not charge us anything extra.  
He is dedicated professional who takes what he does very seriously.  We enthusiastically recommend him without any reservations.

They are VERY attentive and RESPONSIVE.  I hired them to install my first electric garage door when I bought a house with a single car garage back in 2009.  They were very affordable and a pleasure to work with. 

I  moved to  another home in 2011 with a double door and a single door garage and had them install both garage door openers  for me.  I was very pleased!

The last 2 service calls were because I had an issue where my door wouldn't open the all the way.  The left spring had snapped...they were out to fix it immediately.  Then about a month later right one snapped.  Again I was very happy with how quickly they came out to replace the spring.   I will definitely use them again if needed and I highly recommend Garage Doors Unlimited to anyone looking to have a new electric garage door opener for their home.

The person taking their calls was very pleasant and responsive.  Greg came out within a couple hours to give me estimates to either repair to my wooden door or to replace the door.  The price to repair the door was SUPER reasonable, but I have wanted a new door, and decided this was the time to do it.  The decision was especially easy since his price to install a fully insulated metal door was $100's less than the other two companies I had checked.  There also was no pressure to get a new opener; he looked at mine and said it is in fine shape and will work perfectly well.
Greg was able to manage/rearrange his schedules to install the door the same day (within 3 hours of coming to do the estimate)!! The team worked efficiently, cleaned up great and took away all the packaging and old components.  The new door included new springs, rails, cables, weatherstripping, reconnecting the opener, and reconnecting the security system interlock.
It was wonderful to have such outstanding service AND an excellent price!  
Plus - the new door looks great!

It was extremely reasonable. We went with them based on the descent write ups in Angie's List and they have done work on my neighbor's a year ago. So word of mouth and Angie's List are really good.
