They don't try to up sell you on anything. They do exactly what I need.

Did oil change and did a complete overall check on my car. I had asked them to check out the oil plug gasket because of some oil leak. They took me back and showed me that the leak was comming from in the engine areas, possible oil pan or valve cover gaskets. Also qouted me on new tires and shocks.

the folks at Elmridge go out of their way to get you in even when it's a call without an appointment.
The waiting area is neat and clean, the coffee is fresh..they even have some new magazines.
Someone always takes the time to tell you what was done and suggest needed things in the future. They are not pushy and you receive a written explanation of what service was done and what they suggest you have done.
I always come away feeling I received good service and didn't get taken..that alone is invaluable

I returned to Firestone with all of the paperwork and information from the dealership where the need for a new engine was diagnosed, and found that the manager and the repair technician who had worked on the car were both gone. The new manager indicated that they would do what they could to make me satisfied. After speaking to his management team and the dealership where the latest diagnosis had been recieved, Firestone and the manager Dan Selvagio took responsibility for the problem and replaced the engine at no cost. They definitley stand behind their work.

It is now August of 2011, and the car continues to run perfectly. I have been asked to report on Firestone at 950 Elm Ridge Center in Rochester NY. This update will confirm the report above. If Dan Salvaggio is still the manager, based on the above, you can see that he stands behind their work.
