Very well. We were very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism!

They refuse to even show up because they didn't install my fireplace

Everything went very well, from the show room purchase to the install. Guys who installed were on time and professional. Their work looks great and passed the town inspection with no problems. 
Only issue is that Fireplace Fashions is a little more expensive than others (but you get what you pay for).

I love it. It was a gas fireplace. The service was excellent. The workers were very good. They were prompt. They cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them. The price was competitive.

The fireplace installers were very professional. They covered the floors between the door and the fireplace with drop cloths. Fireplace Fashions arranged for a bucket truck to be used in the installation of the vent tubes in the chimney. Total installation was complete in 3 hours. 
The Valor G4 fireplaces sold in 2014 had an issue with the fan (separate manufacturer). Valor did not identify a replacement fan until Spring 2015. Our replacement fan was installed in May 2015.
We love, love, love the fireplace and used it happily all winter. It will be even better with the fan for next winter.
Fireplace Fashions was professional and courteous. There was some lack of communication about the fan issue, but other than that we were very happy with their service.

We were very pleased with the entire process. We dealt with Mike Miller not having any clue at the beginning how the procedure worked. We just knew that we have a cold living room and needed to do something. A couple of trips in, a few emails back and forth and we settled on what we wanted. Work began on Monday 2/24 as scheduled. Our installers were Mike and Ange. The installation took 4 days, which were scheduled for, finishing up the afternoon of 2/27. Mike and Ange were both professional, hard workers and definitely know their businesses. They answered all questions that I had and explained things along the way. There was a lot of work as we chose a unit flush to the wall which meant they had to build a fairly large chase outside. It fits right in. The fireplace is beautiful. We were ignored at the first two places we visited. I would definitely recommend this company.

As,mentioned above, we ordered the fireplace insert on 11/3/13 and was assured they could have it installed before the holidays. We had a scheduled install date of 12/18/13. I arranged to take that day off and scheduled the fire marshal to come and inspect the job. Since I hadn't heard from FF, I called them on 12/17/13 to make sure everything was OK for the next day. The woman that answered said and quot;just a minute I'll checkand quot;, and came back to the phone and said they would be there around 9:30 the following day (as scheduled)
Within an hour, Mike Miller from FF called back and said there was a problem, they didn't have the fireplace insert. He offered to install the used showroom fireplace insert at a whopping discount of $400. I said NO, when will our unit be in??. He said he'll check into it and get back to me.(this is the day before they promised to install it) He called back a couple of hours later and said he's tracked it down and it should arrive Friday the 20th and they could install it on Monday 12/23/13. I said OK. Again, I arranged for the day off and scheduled the fire marshal.
We get another call from Mike Miller a day or two later, now he is saying that he made a mistake on the tracking and it won't be arriving as promised. He also states that the factory has shut down so they can change to a new design and they won't be shipping for 3-4 weeks. We can't believe all this BS, so we cancel our order and ask for a refund of our deposit. A waste of a month and 1/2. Now we need to start shopping all over again. We would never do business here again!

I would highly recommend fireplace fashions to anyone looking for gas insert or other fireplace work done.

Overall went very well.

From start to finish, we knew we were dealing with a firm that knew what it was doing. The selection in the showroom was extensive. The salesperson (Gloria, the owner) knew everything about her product. She and her husband apparently have been doing this kind of thing for 50+ years. The estimate was right on the money, the removal of the wood stove insert went smoothly, and the running of the gas lines and installation of the gas Heatand Glo went off without a hitch. We love the look, warmth and convenience of the gas fireplace. And we would highly recommend Fireplace Fashions again. Gloria, Michael (the estimator) and Travis + Mike (the installers) were all experts at what they do. A pleasure, especially in this day and age when mediocrity is the norm.

The installers were knowledgeable about the product. Installation was done on the date promised and the work area was cleaned up completely. The workers were respectful and courteous and took the time to answer all my questions.

Great job. Very knowledgeable sales person. Came on time for both measurement and installation. Made certain it was working properly and that I understood how to use it and to install it.

I was very happy with the job Fireplace Fashions did. I wanted a bigger one than what they had, but they didn't work with me on the size of the fireplace. They did do a decent job.
