Scott Chapin, owner of Fine Finish, made the renovation of two bathrooms a pleasant experience. We were very happy with the quality of his work. He took extra precautions to keep the rest of our house clean while he worked here. Scott made sure the job was done right. From the time we signed the contract he kept us well informed about every aspect of the job. We would not hesitate to hire Scott for other work in the future, and can recommend highly him highly to others.

Scott was very professional and assisted greatly in both the selection and installation of our powder room remodel. He was very careful to not make a mess, and cleaned up everything afterwards. I was very impressed with the extra steps he took to make sure the fit and finish was perfect, not easy to do on an older house where the walls and floor are not perfectly square. We purchased the materials on our own, with Scott's help, and he did the installation.
We're very happy with the result and would definitely use Scott again.

Always on time, incredibly neat and job site is always cleaned up daily, always puts down drop cloths.
He occasionally makes recommendations to improve the look of the job or to save a few dollars. His craftsmanship and integrity to second to no one. Treats the customers house like his own house. He goes above and beyond and has great attention to detail. He's incredibly meticulous, trustworthy, and just a really great guy and carpenter. He's very skilled at what he does. I'd recommend him for anything!

Scot was punctual and professional. He is well versed in his trade and is helpful with suggestions. If my wife or I had any questions he would answer them to our satisfaction about the work performed. We felt the estimate was more than fair for the quality OF WORKMANSHIP Scot did.

Scott does one job at a time...and does it extremely well. He was here everyday for 6 weeks and it was a pleasure to have him in our home. I started the tear out but after going slowly, I let him finish it...which he did in just one day. All along he made suggestions which greatly improved our satisfaction with the final product. For example, he built in our small refridgerator with expansion trim so that we could upgrade to a larger unit someday. He adjusted the depth of an adjoining closet (to allow for more kitchen cabinets) so that it was still large enough to put my AV equipment in it. He kept us informed about milestones and brought us into the decision-making where needed.

We have the utmost respect for Scott and his talents. He worked so smoothly and artfully that I can truly say he is more than a remodeler...he is a craftsman. Job well done...even years later.

He has only does kitchen and bath and he has been doing it for about 20 years or so.  The estimate process went very well and he was very thorough.  He gave me some great ideas that I hadn?t even thought about.  I gave him a design and he had better ideas on the design.  I am planning to use him for the job.

Scott Chapin is one of the rare contractors who fulfills his commitments above and beyond expectations. He works only one project at a time, he does it very well and only when the customer is satisfied does he move on. His craftsmanship was exceptional and recommendations were creative and often clever. Obviously he was at our home for weeks in what is unexpectedly a very disruptive project. At no point were we frustrated since he communicated his progress routinely and set our expectations ahead of time. Now, three years later, we have had no issues, continue to marvel at his work and highly recommend him for kitchen and bath renovations!

I thought that Fine Finish Kitchen and Bath did an excellent job. I liked that he was honest. I also liked that he cleaned up after himself.

Fine Finish Kitchen and Bath is run by two guys who are very respectable. They have done many jobs for me. They are really good, and I would not think to go to anyone else. They go above and beyond to get the job done.
