When I decided to get new siding for my house, I had a two-page list of other items I wanted to address besides replacing the siding. My list included removing the brick skirt in front, squaring off the garage door opening, removing unnecessary gable vents, installing new storm doors, and replacing a side door into the garage with a window. When Jesse Avery arrived to discuss the siding estimate, I think he was a little surprised by the list of additional work. We walked through all the items on the list and Jesse took notes and measurements, saying he’d need to work with his boss to come up with an estimate that included all the extra work. When I received the final estimate, I was happy with the detailed cost breakdown and reasonable grand total. I also liked the type of siding they used, Charter Oak, since it was higher quality than other brands I’d looked at and offered many more color options. So, I happily accepted the proposal. From the start of the project, Jesse was great about staying in touch with me about any changes or issues. I was having trouble deciding on a siding color, which is a daunting task when you realize your whole house will be that color! Jesse worked with the siding vendor to get addresses of buildings that used the siding colors I was considering so I could see how they looked before I made my final choice. After deciding on a color, Jesse provided a mock-up illustration of my house in the new color, and I knew I’d made the right selection. Once the siding work began, I was amazed by how fast the job went. The siding crew arrived by 7 AM every day and stayed until it started getting dark, taking time to clean up the site at the end of every day. The crew was outstanding, working very hard and reaching out to Jesse quickly whenever they found any issues uncovered by removing the old materials so the project could stay on track. As a result, the job was done in five days! My neighbors have given me a thumbs up on my new blue house, and contractors working on other projects for the house have also commented on the excellent quality of the work. So, I am very happy with the finished product and happy to recommend Exceptional Exteriors to anyone in the market for new siding!

Daryl and his crew had completed a complete roof job for me around 2yrs ago. I needed my xeterioted deck rebuilt . I called several companies to wich half did not even follow up after a quote. Daryl followed up several times and went through every step of the process with me. His crew showed up on the start date provided and did a very professional job. The clean up and final product of the deck was amazing . I would highly recommend his company and employees to anyone looking for any of the services he provides.

Work performed: Roof replacement Date: June 2020 Amount: $15,000 We chose Exceptional Exteriors after getting two bids, based on their excellent Angie’s List ratings, the professionalism shown by Daryl when I met with him to review the project, and that their bid was lower. I also appreciated that his crew was experienced and most of them had been working together for years. The project was a large house tearoff of five layers of roof, and it involved several sections of roof, from the main roof, to a porch, an addition, and a bay window. Daryl was prompt in replying to my questions and in communications about the schedule leading up to the start date. The crew arrived at 7:30/8am each morning. I met and liked each of the roofers in a six-person team led by Glenn, who kept the team well organized. As a very experienced roofer who loves the work, Glenn also performed some of the more challenging parts of the job, including a very detail-demanding reroofing of a near-flat area of our roof that had been a source of leaks in the past. His works looks great, and I am confident it will do the job for a good, long time! Overall, we are very satisfied with the new roof. The crew worked hard everyday despite some very hot days with temperatures into the 90’s. I did keep a table in the garage with snacks and iced beverages for them, and they were appreciative. They also replaced facia coverings that had been ripped down in windstorms, and these look nice too. One key aspect of any roof replacement is cleanup. I would rate their cleanup effort as solid. They cleaned up the yard at the end of each day. For a few days after their work, I still found small bits of old roof debris in a few vegetated areas around the house, but it’s nothing I wouldn’t expect and I don’t feel it’s anything major. Speaking of plants, the crew did a nice job protecting the plants around our house, and we have alot of ornamental plantings, large and small. In summary, I would hire Exceptional Exteriors again, and I would recommend them to others considering roof replacement or other exterior work.

Daryl was very responsive and did a wonderful job. I was desperate to find someone to complete trim around a newly installed door and fix trim around a garage. I would hire them back again.

Darrel was fantastic, going above and beyond to make me happy! Needed a couple windows and doors to be installed that wasn't included in the contract, was quite surprised how reasonable it was so we did that also. I own a tree service and when a customer asks for a contractor I refer him. VERY HAPPY and my house looks great!

The crew showed up every day on time and worked all day. When rain put them behind a day, they came and worked on a Saturday. The job they did was great, the house looks amazing, and the pricing was very competitive. I would highly recommend Exceptional Exteriors to anyone looking for siding. My old house looks brand new.

Excellent, I had been ripped off by another roofer,I contacted Daryll,told him what had happened,he not only worked with me on the price,but he and his crew did a great job,About a year later I was having an issue with rain water getting in between the siding and the roofing and he sent someone right over the next day and sealed it up with caulk,free of charge,Thanks for everything Daryl Sadwick

The guys were very respectable. They also finished my roof in one day and it looks amazing. I would suggest exceptional exteriors to any friend or family member, Daryl is a great guy.

Good work performed

Daryl was very easy to work with. He responded quickly and answered all concerns. When work started we discovered we failed to mention one item we wanted and Daryl took care of it immediately. He had a foreman on the job each day and all of his employees were very pleasant. After installation, there were a couple items we felt needed improvement and that was taken care of after Daryl and his foreman visited to see what those items were.

I was impressed with Mr. Sadwick from the beginning. Mr Sadwick explained the process to me as where i could understand the scope of work. I felt at ease and not pressured. Mr Sadwick ACTUALLY explained a more efficient way to have work proformed to reduce cost without affecting the quality of work. Awesome experience?
